Sharp is made in Thailand and definitely not Malaysia for the Inverter series.

I am using Sharp, for quick cooling nothing beats York or the "Daikin" Cooling King

The only function that I like in Sharp is the indirect cooling function, where it can blow air towards the ceiling and I use this in conjunction with my ceiling fan, so the air can be cooled more efficiently.

Very useful to avoid spot cooling for a long period, especially in bed room.

Daikin in my house cannot beat Toshiba liao.toshiba 20 yrs old cold like frozen ice

2) Next-Generation Refrigerant
- No Impact on Ozone-Layer Depletion
• The Montreal Protocol was adopted in 1987 to specify substances which are potentially harmful to the ozone layer and to restrict the production, consumption and trade of relevant substances.
• Based on the adoption of this protocol, industrialised countries are required to eliminate alternative fluorocarbons including R-22 (HCFC) by 2020, while developing countries are obliged to gradually reduce their use from 2013, and to eliminate them by 2030.

- Lower Global Warming Potential
• The Kyoto Protocol was adopted in 1997 to reduce greenhouse gases which cause climate change.
• Greenhouse gases include carbon dioxide (CO2), hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs), hydrochlorofluorocarbons (HCFCs),chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs) and various other substances.
• To reduce greenhouse gases, manufacturers of air conditioning equipment are urgently required to find refrigerants with a lower global warming potential than R-410A (HFC).
• At the same time, they must also reduce energy consumption, enabling CO2 emissions to be decreased.
- Energy Efficiency
• Air conditioners are major consumers of electricity but about half of the energy they use is still generated by fossil fuel power plants.
• The CO2 discharged in this process is a known greenhouse gas.
• Air conditioning manufacturers must be responsible for providing energy efficient equipment.
• Daikin has redesigned its residential-use air conditioners to use R-32.
• This enables its systems to achieve new levels of energy efficiency while reducing environmental impact.

laugh.gif ok ok u win!!

If got chance and let u test my ME MSY-GE10VA model, just set to 25c with low fan speed.

If you didn't use thicken comforter, guaranty you can't get  sleep as well.

Refer my reviews here :

u think by logic la bro. even r22 with 27c can make me use thicken comforter.
r22 is not an energy friendly, it is not flammable while r410 is energy friendly and flammable.

Do u know why?
Sharp really cut cost for outdoor compressor size, where got smaller like toy size, to compare others China brand.

But I don't think so sharp inverter will be the same performance, should be much better for cooling.

sharp inverter cheap. same price like daikin standard

like I said previously that the left one eco inverter cheap rm999 including installation.

Dimensions ( W x H x D ) 1HP

Out Door 598 x 459 x 265 mm

the dimension of its indoor is the biggest liao among Daikin, Pana, and ME. Outdoor not so small?
