QUOTE(Antzfield @ Jun 7 2015, 12:36 PM) Lots of discussion and debate on pro and cons of R22 and R410A gas type Aircond. My new house just too bad, piping given are of R22 type, if change, it will costs a bomb (atomic bomb) There are even talk that manufacturer will cease production for R22 wef June, this add further to my agony. Was at a fair yesterday, was told only Daikin continue production but till end of this year, whereas Panasonic yet to confirm. Not sure how true it is, as I hope still stocks end of this year, as be getting it end of this year. Hope the statement by salesman is true that still stocks end of this year If that is brand new piping still never used b4, still can able to install for R410a any type. Cause conceal wall to be more durable than run with trunking casing at all

QUOTE(Antzfield @ Jun 7 2015, 04:54 PM) Oh really? I thought I lost hope. I don't want to change all conceal piping as provided by the developer. Yes, it is brand new. With this I may be able to use R410A type of air cond after all. Perhaps I will get my contractor to look at this possibility once his design proposal is out. This thing has been causing numerous thought and really bothering me. Thank you for the sharing and hope it is ok. Then I have more choices to choose from. cause in SG have the same case, they still working in good condition, just depend one the installer experience only

QUOTE(nyunyu @ Jun 7 2015, 05:03 PM) Bought a inverter Mitsu after seeing it being recommended so many time on this forum and ended up with a quite noisy unit, not the compressor but the indoor unit itself. Should have opted for other brand. Which model mind to share?

QUOTE(leonhart88 @ Jun 8 2015, 02:04 AM) the higher the watt the coldest an aircon or the bigger outdoor the coldest an aircon? kimsim please reply. Bigger condenser outdoor was smaller voltage and also more coolest than smaller outdoor were more higher input watts also cooling not as good in afternoon direct sun, if the outdoor unit place at direct sun, so the heat exchange will be slower and works harder too. In a good design was smaller voltage but bigger condenser size lah.. Can compare on ME specs online download for premium 1hp just 480w but still remain the big outdoor and also deluxe standard ME inverter 1hp input watt at 800w but comes with cut cost and smaller outdoor already.

QUOTE(leonhart88 @ Jun 8 2015, 08:58 AM) are you kidding 1hp only 480 watt? so mitsubishi heavy industries 1/2 hp 380 watt with big outdoor best bet? however, its indoor very small ah like a toy. indoor size affected or not? china aircon small outdoor big watt why very cold ah? I'll told in the specs paper.. Then you said MHI, but where is the specs n proven? This post has been edited by kimsim: Jun 8 2015, 10:24 AM
