QUOTE(halcyon27 @ Dec 11 2014, 06:48 PM) Doesn't matter of the brand so long as it's done right - ea pipe with their own insulation. Armacell is excellent but it's very hard to find here compared to Smartco and Inaba Denko. But thier trunking can be very big size. In malaysia no markets, nobody can afford to pay more, even inverter cost slightly more for them also can't afford. But in Sg here for most ppls dunno the specs they would add up for G22 copper pipe and rather than standard on G23. This post has been edited by kimsim: Dec 11 2014, 06:55 PM

QUOTE(halcyon27 @ Dec 11 2014, 06:55 PM) I think this caters for multiple pipes going back to a multi-system compressor if the pipes to different rooms or areas ply through a common route. Didn't know they do that. Cool! Here nobody wanna hack and consealed into wall, for them after 8-15 Yrs max then for sold their house and change bigger size of unit

QUOTE(supersound @ Dec 16 2014, 01:52 PM) Those less popular brand do selling cheaper. By theory, you are right, older models do get cheaper, but they are smart now, each batch the productions are lower and they can modify the casing a bit and can sell as new models, at more expensive price. More common from Pana, yesterday check they has new batch and new model

QUOTE(dp82 @ Dec 17 2014, 10:05 PM) How do i know there is leakage/ require refill? My air cond man just buta2 quote $290 for chemical wash+refill gas for 1.5hp inverter. Normally wash & clean just around 80-150 only, not need refill gas else, gas won't leak at all.. Even mine over 5yrs still keep same cooling.

Don't forget newer model more powerful cooling and new compressor design for quicky cooling with more quiet airflow noise.
Also more improve over model wouldn't quicky cooling down issue.

QUOTE(halcyon27 @ Jan 1 2015, 01:00 AM) Believe it. Check out the new 2014 Mitsubishi Electric premium models (imported). That's already asking for over 3.4k for 1hp and close to 4k over for 1.5hp but the savings is jaw dropping that even 1.5hp saves 50% more than current 1.0hp inverters and 1.0hp about 3-4x more. I heard it 460w only right for 1hp. Got money then enjoy premium life.

You guy know how to check the fan coil blower suddenly stop, like no current at all.
If use test pen can check on power supply cable indoor or outdoor and test the wiring cable brown color got light on is correct, if the blue color cable got light on test pen, meant wire cable have to replace new.
Now my ME inverter 2.5hp is same happen cable supply from outdoor to indoor got light at fan coil for blue cable wire.
Meaning power cable have to replacd new, cable internal has break-off.

QUOTE(efaceninja @ Jan 4 2015, 10:57 AM) Special you pay for fully imported from Japan specs as low as 485w for 1hp equivalent to 2 x 1hp non inverter units. Gree would be better choice.

QUOTE(efaceninja @ Jan 4 2015, 05:59 PM) How does gree compared to the likes of Sharp or Panasonic? And to the likes of acson/daikin/York? Seriously difficult to find any review which relevant to our market. Gree or media for low end markets, you can't compare those japanese brands. For me if due to budget on Gree is very satisfied
