You need to compare the price of a mobo first. In case of Sony service centers, it costs around RM1000.

Lost my phone charger 3 months ago and been using my mom's lenovo phone charger ever since (apparantly some people snatched it away during my car accident 3 months ago lol).

After that decided to update to lollipop, don't like it and flash back to kitkat, and got the battery draining issue also (30% suddenly jumped to 1% and shut down, sometimes even 50%, there was once 75%).

I was pretty sure it was battery's problem, until 1 day I swap the charger to my ipad's charger, the problem did not occur anymore (but the battery did drain faster compared to the day i just got the phone, so the battery is indeed degraded). I was going to take to a service centre in Melaka and have the battery change, but now I don't even know whether is it even the battery's problem or the charger's problem. Any advise?

Anyone have the Amcorp mall service center number?

Can I just walk in to replace my battery or have to call first and order battery?

Planning to go tomorrow and settle my battery issue...

yes did that, playing videos on youtube vidoes after videos.

2 scenarios

Before changing to another charger (lenovo's charger): It drain insanely fast like 10% per 5-6min HD Video, and then stuck at certain percentage like 50% for a long time, and then BAM jump to 1% and shut down.

After changing to ipad's charger: It drain in a moderate speed llike 3-10% per 5-6min HD video; no sudden shut down scenario occur, but when it reaches 20% and below, it drains insanely fast, like 1% per 30 sec. (even it's not playing videos)

I reverted back to kit kat as mentioned when I found that i don't like lollipop. So can't really compare. But what i meant was the battery drain faster right now compared to when i first got the phone.

That equals to damaged rubber. It's better to replace the whole cap as you can't repair the rubber.
