what the usual time taken to fully charge a 10% Z1 using magnetic?

I changed back to USB cable for charging lately when I found out that the magnetic cable failed to provide efficient charging after long used (6mths the most).
The only pro for magnetic cable is to keep your flip intact. But if you use it wisely, it can last eternally (myth though), currently a z1 user since Feb 2014.

if the cable is good, it should fully charge your phone in 3 or 3.5 hours. roughly the same as microUSB cable.

i had bad experience whereby the magnetic cable charges my phone very slow after about 3 months using it. it's like whole night (6 hours at least) only charges 10-20%. if you experience such similar situation, you might want to change to another cable and see if the magnetic cable is faulty

This is the one part that I do not like about the magnetic cable. At least if it's not properly charging, the phone should not light up the charging indicator. Nowadays if I'm charging before I sleep, I'm gonna make sure it charges at least 1% after I put down the phone. Otherwise, my cable might not charge at all.

my ZU almost one year. flap still intact after i start using magnetic dock at 2nd month.

U guys know where to get the decent magnetic charger?

No. I used 2 magnetic cable b4 and both suffer the same fate, extreme show charging after 2 or 3 months use. Now I'm still happily using the Ori magnetic dock.

so my phone back to 'elegant' mode

for missing grill, ive no idea
such disappointment for flagship phone got cheap adhesive for waterproofing
i just applied uhu glue lol
just be careful there got thin gasket around the mesh/grill which i believe some part of waterproofing purpose
and small hole at the center. u put glue = GG hahaha
backup & reset phone is the last you can try, but try to use other adapter/cables 1st

Magnetic cable is tend to charge slower than microusb. You want fast then use microusb cable lo

Found a seller on ebay selling that mesh grill, priced around RM16. Now waiting for it to arrive.

i use this model, quite fast charging i can say
use at office to charge from pc usb, approx 2hrs++ from 5% - 70% (est.)


but this early model i bought after 3 month i got my phone
very slow and and i still use it for bed time charging
ok lah slow slow charge while im sleeping, good for battery

mine charges damn slow after 3 months use. it's like whole night only charges 10-20%. really pointless to use that cable anymore. And also, i think it cause some power unstable with my phone. my phone keep hanging almost on daily basis that time. i tried factory reset and reflash the rom. still no cure and i tot that time was hardware fault. later i got fed up and stop using the slow charging magnetic cable, my phone return back to normal. no more hanging or so.
