QUOTE(atong @ Sep 21 2015, 11:15 AM) Ahh Sorry guys.. I flashed to .270 before. Forgot about that. do you know how to put the phone into silent mode in 5.1.1? each time also need to press vol down all the way down then only the silent mode option will appear... so troublesome... any shortcut?Just updated OTA to .368. So far I noticed: -Volume control (like xposed volume module). -Some changes in icons in setting. -The dimming/backlight issue is gone (had it since the first Lolipop update) -Google and Voice Search icon changed -Additional option on Wife and Bluetooth in notification menu Maybe there's more. I'm about to discover. |

QUOTE(ZeneticX @ Sep 27 2015, 01:36 AM) 5.1.1 update is very nice yup. i flashed the SG fw and also without factory reset. at one time my battery was draining seriously cos of the mediaserver keep running in background. i was thinking about to do the factory reset but then the next day everything return to normal. the mediaserver no longer keep running and battery life was great as before.much better than 5.0.2 phone felt much smoother (this is without factory reset), and they fixed the annoying memory leak issue i flashed the pre rooted zip from xda btw things that i noticed which are fixed/new: - pressing the multitask no longer lags. - added clear all button in multitask - loudspeaker volume is louder - sometimes my nav and status bar do not appear after exiting a game. now it's fixed - options to set large or small icons and rotation in home screen - changed the volume control when pressing the vol rocker |

QUOTE(michlove @ Nov 17 2015, 10:42 AM) Hi all, I'm having problem with my Z1 recently : 1. most probably battery fault. previously my battery also faulty after using it for about 1.5 years. the battery swollen and when I put my phone on flat surface, the phone doesn't stay flat. it will rock top and bottom like a see-saw. so if u have been using your z1 for quite some time, better have the battery check. i'll say most likely is your battery fault.1. Battery drained damn fast. How yah? 2. When I record a video, the sound recording is so soft. Why yah? 3. I slot in a memory card into my phone and it can't detect it......why yah? 2. I do not have such issue. maybe u accidentally cover the mic while recording? 3. all memory card also cannot detect? try using different memory card and see |

QUOTE(michlove @ Nov 17 2015, 02:48 PM) " To install, hit the source link to download the zip file and then flash through recovery. " you'll need root and dual recovery to flash the file. if you are new to this, I suggest you go to the xda forum and read more about it before doing anything to your phonewhat does this mean yah? I'm very noob in all this stuff http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-z1 QUOTE(michlove @ Nov 17 2015, 02:51 PM) 1) So far the battery doesn't look swollen. this problem was after i updated to lollipop. could that be the reason? even with lollipop, you should not have experience drastic battery drain. maybe you try to do a factory reset of your phone and see if the drain still occurring.2) i do have a cover for my phone...maybe that's covering the mic? 3) i went to buy an apacer 16gb sd card just now....can read d. |

QUOTE(mujinkun @ Dec 12 2015, 05:42 PM) Twitted to SonyExperia My regarding new firmware, their reply, Malaysian will be receive new firmware after 2 month global released. Yeah... Don't know what's wrong with sony Malaysia. Malaysia used to receive the update about 2 weeks after global release. What???? 1st 5.1.1 is from Sept-2015 then now on December 2015 we suppose to receive new update, but we got another new global updates, and if like this, we will be forever and ever not receiving any updates on 2015. Bugs in current firmware is killing me. Sehhh |

QUOTE(shaynewai @ Feb 22 2016, 09:03 PM) http://www.androidauthority.com/sony-xperi...-and-xa-675354/ Well, I have not see any news saying this new x series is going to replace the z series. But the x performance sure is flagship spec. I like the metal body and the included DAC. And yet the smaller screen and battery than z5 seems like a step back. They going to replace Z with new series: X. |
