Just called Sony service centre. They said Malaysia usually will get the update 2 months later after the global release. He said most probably will get it by end of this month.

Anyone know where can i change the charger lid? That black rubber on the lid become loose and it can fit close the lid very well. Maybe u guys know where can i change it, and the price. Tq

just rooted my z1 5.1.1. the steps and method is the same as rooting 5.0.2 except you need to use the latest kingroot v4.5.2.

Hi all, I'm having problem with my Z1 recently :

1. Battery drained damn fast. How yah?

2. When I record a video, the sound recording is so soft. Why yah?

3. I slot in a memory card into my phone and it can't detect it......why yah?

is ur battery bloated?

1) its time to replace the batt. last time i was charged rm150 including labour cost

2) AFAIK theres no problem when recording. sound really clear and loud. even underwater lol.
maybe because you playback using z1, theres known problem for z1, sound really soft even at full voulme

3) have u tried to insert with other phone or card reader?

when i playback the video i recorded, is very soft. even when i share via whatsapp to other ppl, they also say sound is not clear.

yes, i've inserted the SD card into other phones and it's working well.

1. most probably battery fault. previously my battery also faulty after using it for about 1.5 years. the battery swollen and when I put my phone on flat surface, the phone doesn't stay flat. it will rock top and bottom like a see-saw. so if u have been using your z1 for quite some time, better have the battery check. i'll say most likely is your battery fault.

2. I do not have such issue. maybe u accidentally cover the mic while recording?

3. all memory card also cannot detect? try using different memory card and see

1) So far the battery doesn't look swollen. this problem was after i updated to lollipop. could that be the reason?

2) i do have a cover for my phone...maybe that's covering the mic?
