Was in Pyramid earlier today and randomly asked a shop (forgot the name) if he is bringing in G751. Say not yet but can do deposits (preorders)

Told me that the model with the GTX9 series will cost RM7999 and the GTX8 series will cost about 5999. sad.gif

GTX 970M GPU is not cheap. Even for GTX 980M it will cost a bomb.

normally should be around 50-60'c like that on average, with regular thermal paste. Better thermal paste will provide lower temp.

Temperature on CPU or GPU will depends on the game has CPU or GPU or Both dependency will cook up the temp but it won't be high as before repaste unless u only did the repaste and ignoreing the vent holes are still stucked by Dust.

as long as the temperatures for both are not more than 85c under load, they should be fine.

Or Loud fan spinning is usually indicating overheating issue.

Digital Mall shop mentioned Asus is having shortage of G551JM for now. Next stock expected to arrive in one week time.

Normal usage i get 48-50*C for GPU and 51*c~ for CPU. It should be fine because i dint hear any fan noise.

note: i'm not in a air conditioned room. just ceiling fan.

G751...AHHhh i had given up long time ago. RM7K above i'll better buy a car. Perdua axia with 9 years installment.. lol

G551, an great gift for my girl friend. she had G750 for now but its too heavy. since GX500 is not available forever in Malaysia.

[attachmentid=4194309]

50-60C on average in gaming blink.gif seriously ??

While normal Facebook + YouTube I am getting 71C max (average 66C) for CPU . 45-52C for GPU .

While gaming I am getting 82C Max for CPU , 81C for GPU (far cry 3) .
For crysis it bumps up little bit . CPU 85-86C (Max) , GPU 83C (Max)

So I am thinking is there any need of repasting .

If ur GPU starting to hit 99'c on GPU AND Fans Blowing loud when gaming, that's the cue to do repaste and dusting the vents. nod.gif
