Need some help here. G55vw user here and this is annoying! Already solve the rubbery sticky lid last time. But no idea how to solve this. Anyone facing same issue?

thanks HRX07 and riku2replica. i guess have to find a way to remove the sticky layer first. so tempted to just remove the whole panel and ignore it.

I did remove the sticky layer first before apply it. Cause the rubber slowly peel off. But i use external keyboard all the time and no more carry outside. Whole laptop rubber starting sticky too.. |

Seems this thread has went silent. Bought the Strix G17 2021 exactly 2months ago when released in Malaysia. Was waiting for MSI, Illegear and GB for their spec and most importantly price for comparison. RM per fps and of course availibility....i went for Asus. After 2 months of daily use...mostly gaming and some work. Love the rig. Gaming performance is expected from all the reviews...build is excellent...feels solid, love the aura lights, battery life is great if not gaming. AMD Ryzen™ 9 5900HX Processor 16GB (8*2) DDR4-3200 SO-DIMM Ram PCIE G3x4 NVME 1TB M.2 SSD GeForce RTX™ 3070 8GB GDDR6 17.3" FHD//IPS Panel//300Hz     drloveplenty liked this post

 i'm using rog strix g17 g713q-mhx087t...it suit with my budget and i really satisfied and happy with this laptop...i bought it from JUST IT Technology at shoppe....i bought it to replace my rog GL552vx model...already 5 years old using it...try playing game yakuza kiwami 2 and gears 5...its really fun...maybe got a big difference with other high spec rog model..but for me..i just follow my budget...i try to look other brand and model but none of them really make me tempted to buy it...maybe my heart always with ROG This post has been edited by mnsnazri: May 2 2021, 04:30 AM drloveplenty liked this post
