I think one of the reasons hearthstone become popular is how user friendly the game is. Compared to other online tcg I've experienced, hearthstone look more clean and simple. And of course the Blizzard brand comes into effect.

login into ur amazon account, go to ur account > manage content and devices -> setting -> country settings -> go and change your current country to united state

Just started last Sat 11pm, and before I knew it, 5 hours had passed for my first session Right now 'Play'ing PVP non stop to level my characters who do not have full basic cards yet.

Two questions:

1) Is there a purpose for hoarding gold or should I just buy packs as soon as I have 100 gold? Are there Events or Sales where a big gold collection will come in useful?

2) I just experienced a weird thing. My opponent took a very long time to end his turn in the first round. Thereafter, for my turns, the timer fuse will immediately appear and burn right to the end, and my turns ended in 2 seconds. I couldn't do anything. Is this a glitch, hack, or what?

There is a glitch currently but that involves the usage of a legendary card. Therefore it shouldn't be possible in other way. Probably due to your connection lagging?

1) I've seen some of my opponents give up when they know they are losing. How did they do this? I couldn't find the option.

2) When PVPing, why am I matched against other players with alternate back covers, rare cards, etc? I don't even have a complete basic deck what's the criteria for matching?

1) there's a concede option in the menu when u r playing.

2) are u playing in ranked? if in casual, i think it will match you to someone with around the same MMR as u.

2) oh well, you hv no idea how pissed I was back den when I first started, they also match me with people that had shitload of legendary, when u only play with basic preload deck, blizzard !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! just grind it thru...

i too came from MTG background when it was in 3rd and 4th ed out in malaysia. was kinda into it back in the early days but then the horrendous monotony of having to chase each new core and expansions got tiring real quick. it became so obvious that it was a hardcore p2w CCG and wizards being super greedy. their continuous attempts to try to invigorate the digital side of MTG is pathetic to be frank and will forever be a failure. i been there since they first released the digital version of MTG. then again, it's been years since i touched MTG and i don't see myself ever re-entering into that complicated world anymore (growing up produces more responsibilities and less time and money available, hence hearthstone is the nice balance in between compared to MTG)

1. actually i like this format because it made more sense so it never really bothered me even coming from a MTG background.

2. this was a big selling point to me and i guess to the general public who are new to CCG. in MTG, this 'instant' mechanic was chaos. go to any MTG duels and this is almost always the reason why there are always marshals in tournaments who are needed to clarify plays. when you have the newbies to MTG in the tournaments, prepare to get bogged down.

3. again, a selling point to me. no longer do i/players need to face losses simply due to mana screw situations. no more need to worry whether i have enough amount of land cards placed into a deck. what a relief.

4. well, it's the start of a new digital CCG. back then when MTG started, it had very few cards as well. if you search through the forums of hearthstone, you'll see the variety of plays based on different classes. as expansion cards come into hearthstone, it'll grow more. furthermore, i like that it was 30 in a deck as well because it meant very very fast play in this game instead of long drawn out gameplays.

5. this i have to give it to MTG. the unique pictures on each card by various different artists are awesome. hearthstone is not there yet but hey, it's still new in the arena of CCG so give it some time and good artists will be enlisted to produce great card pictures

anyways, just my 2cents.
