Not available for general retail/PO...for that very reason it'll be more expensive if brought in...

No comments on the retailers...

Finally collected my first Ironman figure from XL shop today. The 1/4 scale Mark 43! rclxms.gif

This thing is just MASSIVE! No picture can justify its size. Only when holding it in front of you, then you able to tell how ridiculously big and heavy this thing is.

A quick impression of the figure after playing around for 3 hours. Because of the stiffness of its joints, the overall weight+size, and number of articulations, I must say it is really difficult to work (play) with. Have to be extremely careful, as every articulation, will have to make sure it doesn't scratch/clips onto other fragile panels. Ratchet joints are so stiff... if not careful enough, a single "click" could potentially harm the paints... I am glad Hot Toys go for the battle- weathering effect...as to easily hide any imperfection.

Posing is one of the most challenging thing!! rclxub.gif Because of its weight, you wouldn't want it to fall down at all, not even once!! So posing it in cool pose and at the same time, confidently-stable is extremely difficult. It took me over an hour plus to get him into a single pose that I like. The tall-uneven base and the plastic transparent tube stand isn't helping much. The position of the stand is so rigid at one place (and slightly flimsy), and the base has very limited surfaces for his feet to rest steadily. I constantly worry that it will slip and fall down from my table... rclxub.gif

I never have a 1/6 scale ironman before, so Im not sure if the experience are the same as this one... maybe im just being too careful.

There are still so many things I have not test, all the opening flaps , tons of LED lights. One thing I notice is that, the batteries they included show signs of leaking already... with some black/greenish liquid on the top of the batteries. I am worry it will start "melting" if I continue using them and damage the electronic parts. So I am thinking to replace every batteries tomorrow. With 24 Batteries (3 different sizes).... this will probably cost me quite a lot..

Anyway this are my quick early impression.. I can see that I won't be bored with this figure for a long time. Is just that impressive! thumbup.gif It makes me worry that I might end up collecting 1/4 scale figures and statue!!

Continuing to expand the Hot Toys “House Party Protocol”, we are delighted to officially present the 1/6th scale collectible figure of one of the uniquely designed Iron Man suits from Marvel's Iron Man 3 – Sneaky (Mark XV)!

This armor earns its name “Sneaky” for its cloaking system that can allow it to enter stealth mode and camouflage itself within its surrounding.

The collectible figure stands features the meticulously crafted armor that captures the suit’s unique and original design, specially applied bluish-black and silver painting on armor with decals and weathering effects throughout whole body, LED light-up functions on eyes, arc reactor, repulsors, and left forearm, and a dynamic figure stand perfect for aerial poses.

It is time to add another new member of the “House Party Protocol” to your Iron Man collection today!
