Me and my brother created this coffeenottea guild at wowtaiwan since Oct 2010, originally consist of friends and fellow guild members who play at US-Gorgonnash when WOW Classic. We have decided to start a new journey at wowtaiwan prior to Wrath of the Lich King expansion in view of the better ping / latency and cost for playing in wowtaiwan as compare with wow US back then.

Back then prior to TBC, i also played at private server - Wodnet. Some crazy experience back then. Great community.

I played primarily as hunter in WOW US, then, Mage and DK in wowtaiwan.

With the game a bit stagnant and me chasing new hobby in photography, I Mellow down now, as already passed my thirties.

Embrace the next 10 years of wow.

imo wow is never had an age bracket associated to the game. ive aunties in 50s still playing with his 40s brother, admire how they keep the hobby live and going.

though they are guildies went afk for 5 minutes to tend their kids falling off their bed and such but i find it funny and part of life, which i look forward to do when i have a kid myself

50s aunties, Impressive! thumbup.gif thumbup.gif

Imo WoW should be erm, part of a lifestyle, same as some ppl likes to pancing ikan, some ppl watch movie, some ppl like badminton, some ppl like photography, some ppl like travel etc etc. Ppl that think game is only for kid is somehow...they should open up their mind and look deeper. A game isn't just a game if it does brings meanings to a person's life, if it grows the person.

Started out very late, i think 2005/6 in Gorgonash USA.

Levelled slowly like a noob, then got hacked.

Restarted in I think Nov 2013 (right after MOP released, I think?) or was it 2012?

Started out fresh, and am still alone here in Shu'halo.

LOL

It was an inactive account, then suddenly there was a lettter from blizzard (or so it seemed) back then when they had account changes where they tied characters to battle.net ID instead of email registered.

it did say "click here to"...

the next thing I knew the entire account got locked, and my toon wasn't mine anymore.

Am anticipating the release of original WoW. do all i can to get a copy of it. at the end get slaughtered by this cybercafe in penang selling me at rm350. got my copy, started a dwarf hunter, loved it all the way to 50 and started to hate it, why? its not cheap being a hunter and being a noob at the same time, didnt get my mount until im 54. at the end stopped playing while the first BG released cause always playing alone during our day time, can only dungeon at around 3am our time, bad for work. stopped

Back during the Burning Crusade xpack, getting more and more exposure, manage to join in a public Gruul run, was fun going in waiting 1 hour for the leader to explain and organise stuff and ppl start leaving after 2 wipes. Also experienced my first "town invasion" the night before my first oveseas trip with my gf (now wife). Guess what happened the next morning? sleeping all the way to bali lol.

WotLK is less fun after i convince some of my friends to join in, as a tank, ever been questioned that your dps is too low? while the damn stupid faks dps just blast away? did some raiding during this time, manage to down lich king only after 2 buffs. been going back home early from work on thursdays and fridays to raid.

Cata, raged over my job and quit without another costs me too much. played the whole expansion full time. raided until 10HM.....i forgot the numbers but the last we manage to clear before the boss nerfs comes in is the stage behind the dragons back. thats the best we went until we got dissolved due to bad leadership. stopped before panda until i got a job

panda, i came back only during the last patch, didnt play much, some simple LFR here and there, not even going all out. subscription still on but not playing at all

results? all class up to panda level, is that 90? yes, all 11 classes
and a f***ed up resume that has 1.5 years missing from it

Started WoW in Nov 2013 until now. Blizzard's Game fanboy since the playing Diablo in 1997, played everything except the Warcraft Universe (maybe a little Warcraft 2 & 3 but not that into it) mostly focus on Diablo & Starcraft Universe, then it was during the Hearthstone Beta i decided get into WoW lore & universe so decide to purchase the then USD9.99 panda promo edition.

Started in Gundrak Server at first, with recommendation from players here in WoW LYN, played a Belf pally up until level 20, friendly guild (AR), then the ganking started, since i'm the type that dislike conflicts and calling for help from senior guild members, i decide to start fresh in a much more peaceful RP server. Choose Wyrmrest Accord Server, been there ever since, two 90's toon (main toon is pally and 2nd is hunter) and hoping a 3rd 90's on the way (currently 60+ Frost Mage).

Started my own personal guild with all my character in it, mainly because the one thing i enjoy the most is transmogrifying my toons, own guild means i can design and re-design the guild tabard to match the mog smile.gif

Geared up with BG and Timeless gears only since raiding is not much an option for me, a noob which nobody wants to carry since mostly Raid team need players that know the fight (i understand that, no prob). Done all raids from Classic to Cata which is soloable in 5.4 (with Cata raids soloable recently after 6.0, xcept for that %$#@#$ baradin hold Alizabal).

And today marks the first time i will experience the wait and anticipation of a WoW official expansion (since Panda was the first WoW for me). From what i heard it will be the usual like any MMO game that goes to expansion upgrade...bugs...server restart and etc.

1st thing in WoD? well for me it will be the Garrison, then level main and 2nd toon to 100, and after that, this time...que for raids since everyone is new..

See you guys in WoW WoD..

haha this thread brings memories.

Actually the server started with the name Asgradios.. then it went to V2 but that didnt go well. Immortal Chaos home server ran for a bit till it became OMGzone.net. Pain, Fzr, Oneechan, Meg, Yama, good old mates though we sneaked up on each other alot back then - PVP. We had lots of fun aye. My wow experience started there. Dueling over and over again. Arenas didnt work well in Asgradios but OMGzone we started collecting points etc. I went to retail then, stopped at cataclysm, things started changing alot in game and didnt really pick up so well then.. good times, good times. Illusion here btw - BE mage.

Garrison is kinda fun, but we have limited space to build stuff, really afraid to screw with getting wrong stuff.

pretty sure we can remove and rebuild at a later time. on the followers you get them along the way while lvling. heck what you get from the buildings without followers tending to them are good enough. im pretty sure the market gonna blow up from this. stuff will be cheaper i hope.

btw leatherworking now builds tents. gives buff like foods. effing cute n awesome!

Better think twice for what you want to build, getting Garrison Resources is pain.
