I'm going to post bears..
abit noob in this..
want to know how do i actually post it?
do i need to wrap it 1st or i need to go to the post office and get specific boxes?

THanks in advance^^
*
Extra safe to wrap the bear in plastic bag before putting in box (can either buy one of use any used box you got). For normal parcel you need to wrap the box in brown paper and write the address directly on it. But for poslaju you don't need to wrap the parcel in brown paper. Just fill in the poslaju form. For small parcel you can tell the poslaju people to put the parcel in plastic courier bag. Can tell them to put fragile sticker too if you want because I always do that when posting my stuff by poslaju. Won't want the bears to arrive flattened now do we? lol... Anyway hope this help you in someway smile.gif

There is pos ekspres rates in Pos Malaysia website. But I don't blame you for not finding them since their website can be pretty darn confusing most of the times biggrin.gif

I think you might find these of some help ---> http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...post&p=21306460

There's also e-parcel method which you could refer to havocx's post above --> http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...post&p=21673483

Plz take your time to read and do a little research and you could use the search button to find related topics which have already been answered and discussed in details by other forumers. Sometimes it can get repetitive with the same questions and the answers are all available already. Cheers icon_rolleyes.gif

What is the rated for Poslaju?
any1 can help me?
*
The poslaju rate depends on the actual weight or volumetric weight.

If any of your parcel dimensions(length, width and height) exceed 12 inches/30cm, then it will be charged by the volume, but only if the volume weight is higher than the actual weight.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Fomula for volumetric weight:
Length x Width x Height in centimetres / 6000 = Volumetric Weight in kilograms
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Go to Pos Malaysia website to get the poslaju rate.

**Rate not inclusive of 23% fuel surcharge and 5% GST. No 5% GST for item posted from Langkawi and Labuan

As far as I know, pos express only for document?

Anyway, thanks for the information. Will check them out

Usually...but as long as your stuff fit the envelope the post office will not query much. If they see something bulky they will ask what it is.

I need some opinion here as well.

Need to some stuff to UK for my brother.

Pos Malaysia parcel service doesn't reach UK somehow....but their Poslaju EMS does which is RM115 for 1kg, 2kg RM145.
Just wonder, anyone know the better deal to send stuff to UK (Sheffield to be precise)?

Gdex website quoted me RM185 for only 1kg stuff.....
And they never mention how long will it take to reach UK, anyone can help?

Never send item to overseas before....

What do you mean parcel service don't reach? Post Malaysia have some sort of MoU with the UK Mail Service so our parcel service should be accepted as well as EMS. If the parcel did not reach you should make a formal written inquiry with the post office.

If you're sending documents you can use Pos Ekspres International as stated by previous forumer. Registered post can also for item below 2 kg.

Most probably they will consider your package as INCOMPLETE ADDRESS. Why don't you give them a call about this. If the package is still at the post office they will complete the address.
