10kg ma.. Pos Laju is the cheapest EMS option in Malaysia if you post heavy/bulky items only once in a while, but if you do it often then try contacting Skynet. Personally feel that it isn't as reliable as Pos Laju, but I believe that you can arrange for discounted rates if you ship in bulk.

hmm..actually not quite true, for below 10kg, EMS(poslaju) is the cheapest, but above certain kg...its cheaper to use international couriers ups/dhl/tnt (depending on which contry)

example

Msia -> SG, 15kg parcel

EMS -RM232
TNT -RM207
DHL -RM236

both TNT and DHL are way more reliable, faster and fully trackable door to door.

If you just want a quote on your shipping internationally can email the following emails

mbe_bsc@mbe.com.my (bangsar area)
mbe_dpc@mbe.com.my (desaparkcity area)
mbe_bkttinggi@mbe.com.my (bukit tinggi, klang area)

That discussion was referring to roughly 10kg items for delivery within Malaysia. I know Pos Laju's rates for outside Malaysia isn't that competitive for their service. Mailboxes Etc ftw!

I think you need to buy the box from the Pos Laju center one. Also, according to the T&C, you have to seal the box in front of the Pos Laju staff. With your example, I believe that you can't post fish lo.

You can buy the prepaid from any pos office or MBE, dont need to seal in front of staff, just drop off once you done.

I have about 100+ poslaju prepaid which Poslaju forced me to buy cos i have a account....wondering how to package up and dispose of it
