QUOTE(wansirpunk @ Dec 28 2010, 12:15 AM)
wanna ask...what is the proper service and packaging to send a shirt?
*
if the shirt can fit in the A4 envelop u can just put in the A4 envelop... or another way is wrap with brown or white paper...

make sure the shirt got plastic covered.. in case of paper tears off, still got plastic to prevent water or rains or dirt to dirty the shirt..

u can send by poslaju...

i just checked the pos laju website and i confused with parcel rate and poslaju rate

if i want to post a shirt (inside normal envelop), should i checked parcel rate or poslaju rate? (both have different rate)
*
both are different.

poslaju is "laju" .. receiver receive in 1 to 2 days

parcel is "lama" .. around 1 week arrive

so in my case(shirt inside normal envelop), just use pos laju rate right?

i thought since my shirt not consider as document and they will charge with parcel rate.
*
if u post with poslaju... the rate is pos laju rate no matter document or parcel. they charge according to weight.. your just 1 shirt which is light.. should be Rm5.70

thats the starting price for all light weight

so let me get this clear.if we were to send a package using poslaju,
they will only use volumetric rates is it?do you know how they count?
*
if the Volumetric weight is more than the parcel actual weight, they will charge u by Volumetric weight.

If the actual weight is more than the Volumetric weight, they will charge u by actual weight.

To find out the Volumetric weight:

After u got the weight then u can find out the rates at website : http://www.pos.com.my/pos/appl/fast_mail_rate.asp

Hi,

I have posted some item out to kl on monday evening. And was told on the pos express tracking that it was delivered on wednesday. But my customer yet to receive the items. Do you think the postmen keeping the parcel and only delivering it next week? Im actually delivering it to the company address. Pls help.
*
Pos express do not require signature from receiver so Post man will just leave the pos express envelop in the post box or hand it to the receiver.. Your case is company, so I think post man probably hand it to 1 of the worker in that company.

So ask the receiver to ask around if any1 in her company received it.

Since it doesn't need signature.. if lost then hard to get back

hello guyz i'm a student currently doing part time job... wanted to ask which company allows to register and open account for my case as normally they would only allow to open account for those who have company... for kangaroo they provide prepaid services...

my parcel would normally range from 2kg-20kg.... any advices?
*
Most courier will only accept registered company to open an account. Or if no company, they will need u to deposit some amount of money.

you'll have to call to the courier service near your area to ask because each area got different requirement. And Each courier company got different requirement.

If u are just a part time seller , I think just go to normal post office to post is enough. no need open acc.

They will keep in Post office for 14 days after the day they delivered. If u can use internet then u can try email them at : care@pos.com.my .. Ask them to re-attempt. U may wanna give them 1 of your family phone number so they can call them.

the price is depend on weight so the price won't be different unless the box u use is heavier
