Ok, I've read through all 16 pages and I think I've come to this conclusion.

Cheap & small items = Pos Ekspres
Anything else = Pos Laju

So do most of our Gundam traders here use Pos Laju?

Another thing, how do you people find the time to post and collect your items? The post office close before 6 and I'm sure most of your office hours are around that time also. Does this mean you can only do it on weekends?

Pos Laju for anything else

Correct?

A post laju staff told me that if the item looks big but doesn't weigh much then they will use volumetric. But if it looks and feels heavy, then no.

How big? No idea, you have to bring there first.

If you can find a suitable box then that would be the best way. Make sure you put plenty of cushioning inside (crumpled newspaper is good) so the book edges will not get dented. If no box then tricky a bit. I suggest you use bubble wrap on the book followed by at least 2 layers of newspaper and another (or 2) layers of A4/A3 paper to provide additional protection.

Tissue box may not be strong enough, it could get squashed in the delivery truck with the other stuffs. A4 paper can be either white or brown but I recommend white so the recipient's address can be seen clearly. No need to use string anymore.
