Not sure where to post this. So far I had been satisfied with Pos Malaysia's services(either Parcel, AirMail or PosLaju), but I was wondering if there's any other similarly serviced Courier but is going for cheaper pricing? As I usually send out heavy items(up to 10-11kg per pack most of the time) due to the nature of my products, just wondering if there's any alternative to it without costing a bomb.

Have tried asking about the cooperate account for Pos Malaysia's services, but it seems, other than pick-up services and also the need to only consolidate payment once a month, there's no cheaper rates whatsoever.

Well.. Other than DHL, it seems to be that Skynet and Kangaroo isn't exactly getting "rave reviews" sweat.gif

Well.. About the frequency, it's not a lot since it's just a part-time business, say 5-7 parcels a week?

Yeah, since my product is kinda heavy, I'm still starting to choose other companies so that I can get faster shipping, I've been bundling free delivery for my stuff but due to the weight, I can only resort to parcel unless my customer tops up for courier.

Well.. If you don't really need fancy boxes, I know CarreFour has a spot where they'll put up the boxes(albeit already flattened down) where you can choose whatever size you want. I usually get my packing boxes from there.

As for packing bubble/peanuts, I guess you'll have to purchase if you don't have a source. I have my source to get them for free and I always recycle them from packages I receive, even making my own confetti from used documents and stuff.

For me, packaging is all about re-using, part of my environment awareness thingy.

p/s: It probably sounded like I'm being cheapskate on packaging, but if you could ask my customers, I never skimp on the "handling" part of "shipping & handling" and I do pack my stuff nicely, I'm just merely recommend that we re-use stuff for packaging as much as possible as we could probably afford to use more material and still, well, save the environment wink.gif
