Imagine if the results from the checking turns out negative.
Maxis : "You're not worthy to purchase this phone! Begone and pay us firsssstttt"

I wouldn't be suprised at a no reply either.

U know the difference between pre-check and register for interest? Did I see the word ROI at maxis website? It clearly says PRECHECK isn't it? Means checking for existing customer previous contract and eligibility to signup extension plans with iphone 6.

Get off your high horse mister. They are not challenging your "capacity to pay" and your good credit history. This is standard for everyone.
All people who wish to order WILL go through the same page, regardless of your capacity to pay and if you have money. Of course they are going to check everyone's records, your lock-in period for previous phones owned, etc. If someone who has a negative credit standing pre-registers, of course they would still be checking with their accounts. Or maybe a foreigner wants to apply, but being a foreigner Maxis would want additional requirements.
Self-entitlement much?
As an MOC customer, I dont think I should be put through this. Not that any customer should be put through this anyway. I already have my iphone 6 and 6+. Not that I need Maxis to subsidize the price of the Iphone for me. Im just testing to see what Maxis like to put their customers through. If they are not challenging a customer's capacity or capabilities in buying the phone, then why make it so by putting in all these procedures.
