This is what I received after registering my interest with maxis. WTF, Maxis makes it sound like Im begging them to sell me an iphone. As a customer buying an iphone from maxis with hard earned cash + monthly commitment fees to pay to them, you actually have to 'qualify' or prove to them you are 'ready' to buy the phone.

Maxis, I hope you guys are not dillusioned into thinking that you are the only company selling iphones in Malaysia.

I was Maxis users for around 10 years.
I had one nice/surprise experience when I went to Machines to buy 5s.
After purchasing, I was shocked that 5s sim card is smaller. Nevertheless, walked over to Maxis and queued.
Finally it was my turn, the lady proceeded to process my new sim card. Then I asked her how much, she said no charges for me, since I've been with Maxis for 10 years.

I was expecting RM25 or RM50 payment.There was once, I was charged when my sim card was broken.
So this time around when they waived it I took it as a good gesture from them, albeit the small amount.

As a conclusion, Maxis is not that bad, but perhaps they have plenty more rooms for improvement.

2 questions before the arrival of ip6:

1. how to do u guys sync photos? normal itunes sync enough?

2. how do u guys transfer whatsapp/sms history from old iphone to new iphone?

1. itunes.. although i hardly sync..
2. for whatsapp, just go to your whatsapp>settings>chat settings>chat backup
choose back up now to backup your most recent chats before u transfer. Once u installed whatsapp in your new phone, just select restore chat
As for sms, backup in tunes and restore... kaotim

At this rate the iPhone 6 will be getting blamed for everything... Haha...

I haven't used it before but based on the physics I am not surprised that it does reduce wireless reception. That is the same reason why iphone 6 back cannot be full aluminuim.

I was sold into upgrading my 5 to 6 when i inspected an iphone 6 on my flight, the guy sitting next to me had an iphone 6!

The iphone 6 really looks much much better in person compared to pictures online

Went to QCD just now and the guy at the counter said its not launch yet in Malaysia and suggest me to try claim at Apple Singapore. Then I ask again can i claim this unit here once its officially launch here and he said yes but not in so positive tones i guess better wait and see when the time comes i'll try to ask again. scared if he changes from positive to negative later on. I've went to send my ipad2 over there once but they didnt accept because got small dent on my ipad n i tried to sent at Megan Avenue, they straight away sent my ipad to warranty. When it comes to things like this, its all depends on luck and their mood i guess 

which i think its ridiculous because i receive the same tone (impatient) when i called up apple authorized service provider to ask about my iphone 5s (it was an aus set).

then i went    and chat with apple online. they said they (apple authorized service provider) are REQUIRED to service me. so there you go, i printscreen it, went there (AASP) and gave them a good lecture. I was one step from asking their manager out for a debate. Sometimes those ignorant staffs are just plain
