QUOTE(Connect2USales @ Oct 19 2014, 02:43 AM) I believe we can just use any bluetooth keyboard. Apple has those small bluetooth keyboard made for macs and should work. I doubt they would make one specifically for iphone 6.I never tried sending music with spotify before, but damn it now only takes 6 seconds to load instead of 20 seconds. If it were my phone, I wouldn't get a leather case for it because quite a number of bent phones were using the leather case.

I totally feel those guys that came from iphone 4 man, I'm right there with you.
It's very ahhhh when your fingers can fly over the keyboard and the phone just simply keeps up no matter how fast you go! All those years that you were little bit jealous over the bigger screen size of the iphone 5, siri, new thin cable that can let you plug in whichever way, slow mo recording, fast response times are finally over once you upgrade. You get six rows of apps on a single screen. SIX! That's an extra two rows! This is a bigger leap than from 4 to 5! (Yes I know you can count but still) I'm looking for extra iphone cables. What's a good cheap brand? I see RM20 VCOM cable and one brand "original accessories" brand with yellow zebra stripes. Will they work well? QUOTE(biatch0 @ Oct 19 2014, 05:30 PM) Any idea where these figures came from? I was thinking it's more likely the 16GB will start at 2749, with the 64GB at 3149 and 128GB at 3549. Well, the figures come from past year iphone 5 prices. Also, if the 16GB were gonna be 2749, then there is no reason to reduce the price of the 5S right? You can't be selling 5S and 6 16GB at the same price. I got the "original accessories" cable and found them working, except one major problem: They don't fit in the bumper. : I definitely cannot saw or sandpaper the hole to make it bigger since that will mean that the aluminium outer bumper will break up. There's a hole that is in the aluminium frame of the bumper, and very very little piece of metal that keeps the aluminum frame together. Solution is to either buy new bumper with big port holes, or buy ori cables. This post has been edited by slickz: Oct 19 2014, 06:37 PM |

No wifi drop for me here on 8.0.2. Unit is from australia.
First full weekend day out with the phone. I plugged it into my car charger while moving between destinations, but that was it. Usage was somewhat on the heavy side. Home and lockscreen got 14% because I disabled auto lock and the screen was left on a lot during morning. My iphone 4 would have died at 11AM. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « |

QUOTE(benny888 @ Oct 20 2014, 07:23 AM) BUSINESS purposes ? Do you need to email a lot with attachments ? The iphone mail only allow attachments of photos n video only. For other files eg zip, office files ( doc, excel, pages, numeral), PDF etc you cannot do it in the mail app. There is a Backdoor n inefficient n unproductive way to do it using another app that can read the file n share it through mail. For multiple attachments use say a paid app multi attachment. So prepare these file attachments first before starting a mail. All this is because of Apple closed file system Well this is true, the native mail app only allows photos and video to be inserted. You can switch to android and buy a new phone to use those function, or... buy office apps which have way better features than the native app. Some app eg Adobe reader doesn't has option to share pdf files over to mail n for that I needed to use another PDF reader. And this alternative reader cannot access pdf files copied over to adobe. I would need another copy over through itunes or download from dropbox or icloud. So generally for mail I will use my Android phone which is easier n more productive Let me say something on the speed of this thing, not really referring to anyone: all those comments about it being laggier than note 4, or not as smooth really is very subjective. You don't need to fully accept what everyone says yea? Because perception of speed can mean so many different things on so many levels. It's really like two owners comparing their ferrari enzo with their koenigsegg, while some others are perfectly happy with either car because both are f***ing fast while the rest are just riding on BMWs and Mercedes... We'd be glad to have either one anyway. Like "oh, the ferrari need to slow down more on corners, so it's overall slower than the koenig!" "No you idiot! It's 0-60 speed in 5.45 seconds are only only because you used it wrong! You need to depress the pedal halfway first!" So bottom line is , both phones are still damn good and you should be proud to have either one, Just be nice and use them well |

Well if anyone wants to know, my iphone 6 from australia has no problems with celcom. No lag, crash reported as of yet. I spent one day walking around, sitting, standing with the phone (bumper protected) in my front pocket. No bending!
But my first gripe with iOS 8: There is a switch to disable 4G, but that's it. The slowest you can go is 3G, can't save battery further by stepping down to Edge. This ferrari of a phone refuses to go slow. This post has been edited by slickz: Oct 20 2014, 08:47 AM |

QUOTE(Hawaiiii @ Oct 20 2014, 09:14 AM) iPhone comes from Apple Online Store is international warranty lar, if u all still have doubt please refer to Apple customer service hotline or QCD @ Timesquare, even mac city honor the warranty. Thats all, if u still not believe then gg already. I personally called QCD and asked this : "Do you entertain warranty claim for units purchased from australia official apple store?" His answer was : the phone has not launched yet in malaysia. But once it launches, yes they do entertain warranty claim for such units, provided we give the receipt. They do give online receipt, so I'm comfortable enough with this. |

QUOTE(teikwing @ Oct 20 2014, 10:12 AM) Yes no refund if purchased from online store. Physical store yes. Keyword being MAY. That's why there's so much inconsistencies. At the very least, a phone call and directly consulting with places that you will end up sending for warranty claim already answering YES, so there is some comfort level there. Thing is Apple's warranty documentation did mentioned that it MAY restrict warranty service for iPhone & iPad yo the country where Apple or its ADs originally sold the device. So, which is right? You also have to consider apple care+ where there definitely is some warranty coverage there. In any case, the guy working at machines that I spoke with on the matter also finally said they do entertain, but only for official apple store, which definitely means apple must have some warranty coverage for units bought online. Where else can apple facilitate warranty claims since they don't have a real official store here? Of course our apple premium resellers la kan? It's listed on apple's official website. You can use this as a point when dealing for warranty. I know this has been asked many times, someone might wanna do an FAQ for this. I'm only entertaining the questions because I'm in a good mood. First working day with the new phone. It left my charger at 6:00AM , I only plugged it into my laptop for about half an hour
With whatsapp continually working throughout the day, I have nothing to complain about the battery life. You can get away with a heavy day out, but you will still be wise to prepare a powerbank for extra assurance. I can probably go with a more portable powerbank with this phone. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « This post has been edited by slickz: Oct 20 2014, 07:23 PM |

QUOTE(me076310 @ Oct 20 2014, 07:11 PM) Celcom's currently testing the iPhone 6/6+'s compatibility with their network. I get my 3G speeds just fine on celcom. No drops. 4 out of five bars in damansara area.It shouldn't be much longer. Brace yourself. One thing about the 6 that a lot of people did not mention is the deeper bass and richer sound on the speaker. I'm liking the phone more and more after learning more about iOS 8. It crashed once, and there is that whatsapp notification bug that I had to press home button to make it go away, but other than that the phone is just fine. |

What's so special?
It really depends on who you are. If you're some rich businessman that have been playing with different phones and change phones month to month, then maybe nothing. The phone only truly becomes special if you get the right apps to complement you. But if you're like me, coming from iphone 4... then you'll experience a major leap in smoothness. I was from the first generation of retina display and the moment I first booted into the main after setup, I wasn't really prepared for how the screen quality looked like... It was like perghhhhh I don't know if it's because of the aged matte power support screen protector on my old phone or what, but the display simply looked awesome. I was sharply reminded of the cnet hands on review that I read where the guy reviewing said that the display looked like high quality coloured printed glossy paper. Touching display just looked like I'm directly touching the pixels with no glass in between. I learnt my lesson picking matte screen protector and went with tempered glass SP instead. It's just amazing, feels there's no SP at all between me and the screen. Trust me guys, forget about plastic screen protectors and just go with tempered glass instead. The smooth gliding sensation of your fingers over glass is just whoah. Touching glass >> Touching plastic. This post has been edited by slickz: Oct 20 2014, 10:14 PM |

I strongly discourage using apple pay until it matures for a bit. What if an app trick you into using apple pay online? You want to press home button to exit the app, but by pressing the home button you inadverdently authorize the payment with your thumbprint.
Remember how fast touch ID now works. |
