Yosemite looks like crap on non retina mac especially Helvetica typeface. Wait for next year if you planning to get a MacBook Air. Or add a bit more and get the Pro 13"...worth it haha

Ya that's another reason I've been holding off the MBA purchase.. Waiting for retina display..

Guys is there anyone using Digi for the IPhone 6 + seem always 3G and no LTE symbol. Using Australia set

For LTE on Digi network, ensure that you have their latest LTE SIM Card. Can't remember what its called but if you are using an "old" sim you will not get LTE.

Ya, if you are still working with thumb drive and SD card, it will be a hassle plugging in to iTunes for transfer. For me, most of my stuffs transferred and backup via cloud like iCloud Drive, Dropbox and Box. With Airdrop and iCloud Drive, it's fast and convenient transferring any kind of files between your phone and mac.

As with most thing Apple where they seldom throw in every kitchen sink features into the OS, the rich app ecosystems can make up for the missing features especially with iOS 8's extensions, share sheets and iCloud Drive API, which is a huge thing that most top tier developers are currently working their ass off building apps for it, just need more time. We can see this in some app already like great utility apps like Transmit for iOS.

If you have been following iOS developments news, you'll know there are plenty of this really neat and interesting apps in the work. In a year from now, there will be a merging of single universal design for iPhone and iPad.. ie. Ipad type apps running on 6+ model with landscape split view for example. The only problem now is the waiting part for developers to release these apps but very soon. Great time ahead.

All these iCloud n Dropbox not practical for me due to lousy wifi download ( average 3mbps) n 3g only 1-3mbps with no LTE at my place. Sharing files with friends n business associates is convenient thro thumb drives
Unlike most of u city folks high download speeds is only a dream here
And I am not a stranger to IOS having used all iphone till ip5 ( skip only ip5s) n all iPad series ( except iPad Air). I do know what is IOS n it's capabilities. As for future development as stated by you we still need to wait for it

File access to ext sd card. Greatly killed by Kitkat. Only updated apps which reserve a specific folder in the sd card can now save to sd. And u know how lousy play store updates are.
Share to other apps is the only major feature I mostly miss. I can no longer share some article directly to a fb private group in ios.
Other than that, more benefit going back to ios. Os update minimal and the waiting for updates sucks, if any update is coming.

Nextappsdfix app fix these ext sdcard issues on Kitkat.
Plat store update lousy? Don't think so as I had been using Android past 7 years with iPhone thrown in between. This has never been an issue with me. Had no problem w Android app either. Maybe iphone games app more superior but than I don't play games on my gadgets
Anyway I am just pointing out functionality of iOS is limited n not saying iOS is worse than Android. Each has its pro n con. Just stick w that meets your needs best. I am using both IOS ( ip6+) n Android now.

H+ is Not 4g/LTE. Is only higher variation of 3g
When I am in KL I will see LTE on top of task bar on my ip6+. I am on Maxis postpaid. No idea whether it will be 4g or LTE on Digi

Also on maxis postpaid, my iPad Air shows LTE and my Note 3 shows 4G when I'm in areas with such coverage

No big deal as I always root my Android
Warranty is of no concern to me
And in past 7 years of using Android only few occasions claim warranty n even with root I could claim successfully without problems

but somehow i still like iOS over android in terms on simplicity. I find iPhone easier to use. And even my kids will choose iPhone over android. But if you ask me, can i choose to use only iOS, then my answer is no.. i rather use both os then solely on iOS alone.. there are things that Android is a lot better than iOS.

And personally i think, we as users should have an open mind in selecting our gadgets. Fanboyism should be a No No... a healthy competition is required for phone manufacturers to keep improving. Without Apple, I'm sure android still stays at donut or maybe ice cream sandwich. As without Android, there won't be much changes in iOS too. Oh and did we just forgot about linux and windows and BB?
without BB, i don't think we will even get apps like messenger, whatsapp, line, we chat, etc..

Happy using the phone of your choice.. always keep in mind, your phones is a devices to get you connected to your love ones, friends, families, colleagues and others. It's might also be your companion as it's also your alarm clock, reminder, gaming console, entertainment media, source of information, etc.
It should not be the reason for you to argue with others due to indifference of use.

my personal opinion..

Agreed. My kid loved playing with my iPhone 4 and 5, but he lost interest in my phone when I changed to Note 3, haha. As for iOS simplicity, he learned to operate an iPad when he was 2 years old, haha biggrin.gif (ya, I know, terrible parenting)

Blue light quite disruptive for toddler growth (affects sleep etc)...might need to jailbreak your iPad and install flux if you haven't or get an Android tab hehe

I hope iOS 9 include warm light feature under Accessibilty.
