For eg. In a graph property price index, 0 is lowest price 100 is highest price.

2009 - 50
2011 - 75
2013 - 100
2014 - 95
2015 - 90
2016 - 75
2017 - 50

i think price will start drop on 2014 & 2015, if not waiting for loss? in 2016 and 2017? you have timed the market drop with precision.. with years and percentage and index

I only see the price going stagnant, for one to sell, need to get different from the pool such as lowering... otherwise if wait for drop is sad.... as mention ceiling is there already

It is only a matter of time before the stock market plunges by 50% or more, according to several reputable experts.

“We have no right to be surprised by a severe and imminent stock market crash,” explains Mark Spitznagel, a hedge fund manager who is notorious for his hugely profitable billion-dollar bet on the 2008 crisis. “In fact, we must absolutely expect it."

Faber doesn’t hesitate to put the blame squarely on President Obama’s big-government policies and the Federal Reserve’s risky low-rate policies, which, he says, “penalize the income earners, the savers who save, your parents — why should your parents be forced to speculate in stocks and in real estate and everything under the sun?”

Billion-dollar investor Warren Buffett is rumored to be preparing for a crash as well. The “Warren Buffett Indicator,” also known as the “Total Market Cap to GDP Ratio,” is breaching sell-alert status and a collapse may happen at any moment.

So with an inevitable crash looming, what are Main Street investors to do? One option is to sell all your stocks and stuff your money under the mattress, and another option is to risk everything and ride out the storm.

But according to Sean Hyman, founder of Absolute Profits, there is a third option.

“There are specific sectors of the market that are all but guaranteed to perform well during the next few months,” Hyman explains. “Getting out of stocks now could be costly.”

Jliew, no need to see so far, see our won KV transaction will be enough bench mark to see the property market strength..

the hot selling record in new launch vs sub sales clearly shows that many investors around, demands garnered are nth more for investment..

No transaction and many vacant units are the facts. But nobody want to sell u the price u wan also another fact. Accept it la.... you will never afford to buy a house giving your patern.

miss one word, nobody has "yet", if you are one of the investor and hold a year and more already like amaya, do you forsee that prices will double up and wait for the said?

I think disposing it cheaper and get the cash to reinvest in more modern, newer features will be better. in property, once you were bought at lower price, the limit is always there, newer properties has a higher limits isn't

I do agree that price is a bit on higher price now...with current price I really not into the mood to sell because I know once I sell I cannot get back something similar at same price.
Bearbear don't have choice since he did not hold anything earlier and can sell for upgrade. This is sad but reality is harsh.. more disadvantage if he wait longer...accept or not accept is his call
I am a bit sad becuase my portfolio still very low and property price already skyrocket. I ask Bearbear buy becuase I sincere think price won't not come down next year, either will turtle up or skyrocket up..

I not sure about others, recently my friend recall back his condo for sale as he share a same view with me as he affraid once sold cannot buy back as price is skyrocket now...my group of friend now prefer keep n rent out rather than sell for one time profit...

We always said what can we buy after we sell, always end up no where unless wanna upgrade for own stay or ttransfer to other more profitable investment

I think you just want more buyers to buy higher entry price properties so that those bought earlier can relax, coz there is alwayls someone behind you..

the hope of 300k to be covered by 500k is there, the hopes of 500k buyers for 700k buyers and further up stops.. 500k worries now.. 300k say long way before me to colapse
