QUOTE(walkmanphone @ Jan 6 2015, 01:50 PM) I concur. Killerom I heard its good but to think of spending almost 1k on a 11k car kinda LOL.... anyways, any realistic reviews on the Killerom?cause I have heard Peugeot they also do this kinda flashing but then the car goes crazy cause the air flow is too strong and the car can't take it bla bla this kinda story.I love my waja more when I realise the waja I bought is a 1.6x with auto aircond and leather seat by default while my house vios also no such features. wah... 1k for killerom steven already can go holiday and buy new car lohe doesnt charge 1k btw... last time quoted me around 500? cant remember the price |

QUOTE(ZenXL @ Jan 7 2015, 05:56 AM) Hey everyone, what kind of sound is that? which side is it coming from?I'm not a car person that much but i was wondering, why does my waja have a "loose" sound everytime i go thru strips or speed bumps. It's like the "rangka" of the car is loose, ive been driving with this problem for a couple of weeks already but i just wanna ask here to see what kind of problem is it and could i probably get it solved. Someone told me it was my lower arm? I don't think so cause ive sent my car to fix the lower arm and it still has the sound. |

QUOTE(jolipoli81 @ Jan 16 2015, 11:05 AM) i saw my post no la... not that hard. if a first timer like me can do within 1.5days im sure anyone can do it.btw, it is not easy to do retrofit the projector into Waja headlamp as you'll need custom brackets to fit the aftermarket projectors. A lot of trial and error. Or maybe I should laser cut a metal bracket to ease every wajarians however i spend quite alot of money on heatGUN and dremel tool... so if u prefer to ask someone to do itnicely for u... just pay him RM:) i spend total... RM300 bosh heatgun RM100plus dremel RM25 butyl glue RM200-300plus projector RM100-200 HID get some gloves and youre good to go. screw driver i think you should have. or pay jolipoli for hisprojector and HID and he will give u step by step guide on how to retrofit:) This post has been edited by larrytty: Jan 16 2015, 02:09 PM |

QUOTE(insyder @ Jan 21 2015, 12:33 AM) Hi all. recommended depo headlamps plus HID as original not very good cut off and light lost.Still about the headlamp. If i use the stock projector but only change the stock H1 bulb to HID one, will it do any good to the output? Or should i buy depo headlamps plus HID bulb to really feel the diff? 😁 Pls pick 4300k-5000k range to keep u safe from JPJ+police and of course safer for other users too. 4300k is best (my personal view) as too white during rain u see nothing at all as the wet road just reflect everything upwards. (btw i am using 5000k now and feel that its abit too white. however 5000k the colour is nicer) This post has been edited by larrytty: Jan 21 2015, 10:53 AM |

I was considering Depo and retrofit around last year
one reason why i picked retrofit because i was doing my own small project on my waja and i loved the thrill of cutting up stuffs reason why i didnt choose depo because for that price i am rather skeptical on the built of the thing but i do see some good depos out there (keep it up China/taiwan manufacturer) i see some depos out there having slightly yellow tint on their glass/plastic i not sure but yea there is a small tint on it However which ever u pick wun be a wrong choice just make sure u dont glare oncoming traffic |

QUOTE(Nightstalker1993 @ Jan 24 2015, 11:16 PM) That stepped cutoff is normal actually, you see it goes up on the left side, which is not where oncoming motorists are. In the US the stepped cutoff is higher on the right side. The purpose is to illuminate signboards etc on the left. https://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...entry68841713You've seen the Depo projectors IRL? So your retrofit, what projectors they use? Any sample beamshots and what are the cost/downtime? And yes, as long as you've adjusted it so that it doesn't glare incoming traffic then you're fine. this is my post and some pictures and what i went thru... i guess first time memang need some time to absorb and do the work but turned out till now everything is still okay i even opened the headlamps up to hook on the highbeam part and not use waja's original highbeam quite satisfied with the output althou the alignment can be better but for now i feel its not too bad |

QUOTE(Nightstalker1993 @ Jan 26 2015, 07:58 PM) i apologise then, didn't know you were in this business nope... need do some DIY cutting for the projector to go in. Original waja projectors need some work too to remove themSince we're on topic, how much does a basic HID projector retrofit for our Waja's costs with and without installation? I recommend the Depo as it is also pretty cheap being less than RM400/pair. And the projectors you supply for larrytty is it plug and play to the Waja headlamp casing? I've opened the Waja headlamps before as I replaced my original Waja Bosch headlamp projectors with some cheap made-in-malaysia waja replacement headlamp projectors which I got for free but had to transplant the projectors over as the headlamp glass itself was broken so I guess I can say that I know how to change the projectors only if the 4 screw holes align nicely haha. Last question, what type of bulbs do they use? Currently I'm running on 55W H1 HID's and the projectors are better than the stock Bosch but nowhere near of even the Depo projectors but at least it doesn't glare oncoming vehicles. edit: I see you're based in Penang. I'm heading to Penang on the 1-4 of Feb, mind PMing me your contact so we might be able to meetup? Not buying anything yet though haha i used a dremel tool to remove everything i think he sold me RM280 or RM300 for just the projector itself HID u can use your own i bought H1 HID from joli should be RM150+ i think hahah ask him show u his waja i think joli has a waja with his own retro work https://www.facebook.com/DKRetro/photos/pb....?type=3&theater |

dont forget treat me penang char kueh teow when i go down hahaha
no la i just feel that u have the enthusiasm to do this thing and you have been pushing your projectors a long time its good to have some backup once in awhile and quite chun i am always on waja thread too would love to do the cutting of the headlamps again if given the chance:) any waja user wanna donate his headlamps? By the way... i did not use any bracket or epoxy to glue on the projectors to the housing instead i just screw the thing in firm so that in future if wan change can change another projector however after few months i think the projector is still good to go This post has been edited by larrytty: Jan 28 2015, 08:23 AM |

QUOTE(jolipoli81 @ Jan 28 2015, 05:49 PM) haha, i bring you go eat the best CKT in Penang, come over! used one of the youtube video instructionsbtw, what screw you use and how you screw the projector since the hole doesn't align? Surely need a custom bracket for it. i just cut the ori housing nicely then fit the projector in... then u know the bolt u put behind the projector? just screw it in tight enough then the whole thing wun move of course make sure your holder cut chun chun with the projector then fit it in so far no issues and best part is in the far future if projector not good i can take out show u:p or... if its damn imba i can take out and show u too hahahaha |
