If Block A is 80% sold why do they need a new sales office?Windows On The Park • WOTP @ Cheras South (V2), By Selangor Dredging Berhad

Went to SDB office today to sign the TNB and Syabas Forms. When asked about the expected completion date I was told their 'target' was November. Does this imply that they may not achieve their target?

Got Billed for "internal and external finishes of the said parcel including wall finishes". Now just 3 more milestones remaining before VP. All those are related to common facilities, - sewerage, drains and roads. Still hopeful of Vp by November

QUOTE(aberdeen @ Aug 9 2015, 09:45 PM) It certainly look like the project flow very smoothly...."the internal, external and wall finishes" is also billed to Block B....I think all the 3 blocks will be VP at the same time. Aberdeen, just being curious. How did you know I was talking about Block A in my post. |

QUOTE(aberdeen @ Aug 17 2015, 10:41 PM) I remember two years ago SDB launched WOTP in Singapore, at that time the exchange rate was around SGD1 to RM 2.45...not sure how was the response then....today is SGD1 to RM2.92...if SDB should do another launch in Singapore they may get a better response...only cost about SGD400k to get a unit of WOTP.... ........sup sup shui to the Singaporean...it may be cheaper if the ringgit dive further down! Unfortunately based on latest Selangor state laws, the minimum price of property that foreigners can buy is RM 2,000,000. So it will still be not easy to sell. |

QUOTE(aberdeen @ Sep 24 2015, 10:58 PM) Saw the model number for the Electrolux Rangehood on the box...if I read the number correctly, then this is the hood we will be getting... Any idea whether the hood will have exhaust ducting to outside area or will it just be a standalone hood?[attachmentid=4995832] |

QUOTE(aberdeen @ Sep 26 2015, 09:41 AM) ameliorate...just like you, I am also curious to know whether those are solar panels on the roof of the gym and function room..can't make out what are these from this pic... Highly unlikely. Solar panels are usually not integrated into rooftop structure. They stand on separate frames and usually at an angle. [attachmentid=5002810] maybe Mave can help with his powerful dslr camera and capture a close-up pic of these panels... i find no mention of solar panels from SDB on the WOTP project...so far.. Army kor..you know? Also the area is insufficient to cater to enough power to run the big air conditioners here. And if it is for lighting and small power for Gym and function room it is way too many panels. But you never know what surprises SDB might throw in. |

QUOTE(calvin989898 @ Sep 26 2015, 05:14 PM) Check first few pages of spa where there is a stamping date. Contractually is 36 months from that date. I saw the 36 months VP clause in the S&P but the exact date is not mentioned anywhere. So only those who signed S&P in Nov 2012 will be eligible for LD if SDB doesn't give VP by Nov. 5. I would assume roughly 10% of the units was sold by Nov 2012, which means only 58 Owners are eligible for LD. At an average price of RM 800k, this would translate to roughly = 58 * 800k* 10%/12 = 386k/month roughly for SDB. Not a very big penalty for a Company like SDB. But as the delays increase the cost/month will also start increasing.Actually I am more interested in how many of the Owners actually plan to move in there after VP. As of me I would move in right after VP and renovation is completed, which I guess would take about 2 months. What I would really hate is to move in to an empty condo with very few occupants. Near my current condo, is a brand new condo from YTL which based on the forums gave VP a few months back. But the place still looks like a ghost town. No lights anywhere. I guess a lot of the Owners were plain investors. I was wondering if I could start a poll on how many of you intend to stay at WOTP. Just reply with your intention to stay - Yes/No and which block. |

QUOTE(trev00 @ Oct 1 2015, 01:38 PM) Actually I have been following this forum since I bought WOTP last 2 years, just that I rarely comment. :-) Hi Trev00. You mean it will be delayed or will it on time? What happened with 5stones?really appreciated people who shared the latest progress update to us from time to time, of cause with nice photos as well. although I hope it will VP next year, but I doubt SDB will make it happen, they learnt their lesson from 5stone d. |
