Great!....since now there are some concerns that there are some baffling design flaws of the guardhouse, it will help us to examine in detail and come out with a more conclusive result if you can take pics of all sides of the guardhouse to show us. Is really hard to believe that the project developer and the architect which had put in lots of effort on the design of the buildings sitting on WOTP for sustainable living and earthquake resistant....cannot design a proper guardhouse.....it will be good too if you can find out the actual height of the fence...

Thank you in advance...ageetkumar.

Sorry guys. I couldn't go today. Got stuck in office and will be out of town for next few days. Looks like the visit has to be postponed to next week. Hopefully somebody else pays a visit to the site before that and posts some updates.

Enjoy guys. The pictures were taken only earlier this week. There are quite clear despite the haze!

Great Picture. Thank you S.Army

But it looks like a lot of work still needs to go in before they can give VP. Even December end looks unlikely the way it has been progressing.

Went to the site today. Here are my impressions from the visit.

The site is a beehive of activity. Lot of workers on site. Looks like they are trying hard to make it by Dec end. And it looks like they will hand over but B block and anything beside it will be incomplete. Including the Quiet park. This is well within the terms of the S&P. Looks like it will take at least 4 -5 months before they can complete the rest of the park. Which should be OK as we will take at least a couple of months following VP for renovation and stuff. Hopefully by the time we move in for living everything is complete.

Block C is more or less complete. Couldn't see insides of units as they were locked. The lifts were powered up. Ventillation fans were running. Car Park facilities completed including all signages. Went inside some of the units in Block B and Block A beside the pool level. All found completed except for the additional internal fixtures such as Kitchen cabinets, fridge etc.

Saw an office taking shape inside Blk A. I suppose this will be the management office and sales office for now. This should be ready in 2 - 3 weeks time.

Installing cobblestones for the roads around the buildings and also side walks outside the perimeter fence. The fence does look a bit flimsy to me. But I am no expert in it. The Service entrance also taking shape. Earth moving going on in quiet park area.

Rest you can make out from these pics

Ya, aberdeen gor, totally agreed to you... Now still early to judge as they are working hard to rush to meet for VP. Moreover, for more confirm information on strata title & VP date. It would be better to check with SDB instead of wild guess...  tongue.gif
Anyway, we can estimate is around end of this year for getting key. Just not sure exact date.

I saw a temporary guard house and a vehicle barrier put up at the entrance to the rod going down to WOTP when I was there last weekend. Although the guardhouse was unmanned and the barrier not closed, does anybody have any idea whether SDB is planning to block access to the site soon.

No I beg to differ. It is mandatory for the govt to compensate the land's owner if the govt acquires the land for public use.

A friend who's house was located near the main road was acquired by the govt because it wanted to widen the road from 2 lane to 4 lane. The govt compensated my friend for having to give up part of his land to the govt. Only the amount of compensation need to be worked out between the owner and the govt.

Sorry to write something off topic.

Just got milestone invoice for 2g- drains serving the building. Now have just one more milestone to be billed before the final VP.

That's the use of cctv. If someone want climb using ladder, even 10 feets is possible. With online cctv, the monitoring guard and patrol guard should be able to detect it.
