Cash back works for all types of transaction so long the transaction date falls on weekends.
I haven't tried for AirAsia yet, may need others to verify further. I personally tried MAS and yes it is processed during weekends and I got my rebate.

Then just pay outstanding balance, the reason is your statement balance is greater than outstanding balance. The amount for your statement balance is reduced probably due to cash rebate that credited into account on 1st or 2nd of the month.

For new applicants from July onwards, need to pay for 2x50 GST. For existing users, we are not affected.

After all, I don't use the extra privileges of Plat cards. Although sometimes there are promos that sent to Plat cardholders only.

Block the whole amount.

For all installment plans, regardless cards, they will block the whole amount from your card and reinstate the amount bit by bit depending how much you pay back to them. If they don't block, everyone will be keep buying and convert to installment plans. That's very scary.

Yes, they credit every month but the total amount is already blocked from the beginning. I'm quite sure you misunderstood this thing previously.
