Then Asus really should consider dropping Intel unless they improve their chip's power consumption - or put in a 4000mAH battery in their phones, ha ha ha...

Anyways, my final stats at the end of the day: 16h 15m 30s on Battery, Screen Time on 3h 37m 45s and Battery @ 23%. Very respectable. I get the same sort of numbers from my Note 3 sometimes.

Then the phone will be more expensive... Intel gives incentives or discounts if phone makers use their chips.

Ya, their little gimmick to get into the mobile space where they are being smoked, hehehe... I previously owned the first gen Fonepad and I really wasn't impressed with the Intel chip since then. Anyways, the likes of Xiaomi, Huawei and even Asus has shown it is possible to make high-spec phones at reasonable prices using non-Intel chips biggrin.gif

Mine so far all OTA update

Eventhough i only disable bloatware my phone running slightly smooth

If there's a way to unninstall the bloatware it would be great, since a lot of ram waste there

The very reason i choose zenfone basically because of intel SoC

I would consider current zenfone are using 2nd gen atom SoC

The next zenphone probably 3rd gen x86 SoC

Haven't tried the current gen Intel SoC so I would reserve my comments on those, but the first gen one wasn't impressive. Battery life was poor and lags quite a bit. Perhaps much better these days.

If your phone is still warranty do get it checked out at the Asus service center. I have faced the same problem with Asus' battery before in my previous Fonepad.
