hmm.,..still issues wif kk...if kk plus root ok? then no draining battery faster and no gps issues? zf6 user here...current is still jb..

im in the process of upgrading to kk...i have updated all pre-installed app and enable them all, unroot the phone and currently waiting for the upgrade to finish downloading...

last time i try to update, the upgrade didnt go through a lot of time...

maybe otg usb thumdrive?

failed again...couldnt apply patch on audio_effects.conf....any workaround guys for this?

gps lock i use faster gps app to lock on quick...i am still on jb, rooted, zf6 btw, not upgrading to kk,..

battery is superb, for me anyway, use only for games like brave frontier, hello hero, fb, whatsapp, call, sms...need to recharge once in a day (8.30am - 5.30pm)...charge on pc / powerbank...

still loving it because of the camera, fast, n stable system when rooted, too bad no custom rom...but u manage anyway....

i rooted my zf6, installed adaway (keep the ads away), diskdigger pro recover files (for that Oh no i accidently deleted pics/musics/clips/docs/ moment), network (for forcing only always wcdma coverage), fastergps (gps quick lock), set dns (setting different dns), sd maid pro (for that extra cleaning when u need it), wifikill (for killing other wifi users, ) psiphon3 (tunneling galore), root browser (best file mgt for rooted fon) , the cm family apps (cm battery, cm browser, cm security n clean master), teamviewer (for remote access my pc at office)...

disable multiple asus apps n bloatware...

i use smart launcher pro 2 for quick access n low memory launcher, apps are automatically sorted to their respectable folders, so no more swype all the time, use tab category for searching app, ez...

sorri for late reply bro...yes u can recover back all of your 2 months worth of pics if u rooted....android doesnt have recycle bin...

For those zf6 user having drained battery issue can use clean master...they have a function to block autostart apps....get it rooted i would say as it would solve most of the battery issue...

As for someone mention cannot connect to teamviewer, my zf6 had no issue to remote connect...

Byw, still on jellybean and will not update it to kitkat...

As for those who are still need to update the firmware, make sure u need to update accordingly...u cannot jump to the latest firmware...

That being said, good luck guys...im still loving my zf6..

Those who are WW should not be having issues OTA update, mine is TW and still receiving OTA update...even rooted still receive updates...
