strange. usually china apps comes with colorOS. not with cm. when u bought the device, was the box already opened?

I wonder why they install M11 nightly instead of CM11s, u can refer to page one for instructions. Follow step by step.

i think someone already played around with his device. if its M11, shouldnt have any china apps

my bad, forgot to mention, shop selling Cyanogenmod flashed version, means the box already opened.
but there's Hexagon boot animations and the theme chooser though, camera interface looks like 11S based on my reading on

Don't have Audio FX or DPS Manager, other than AnTuTu, Evernote, Facebook and Dropbox, the others came pre-installed, I am so confused. I can't even uninstall the crappy battery saving apps.

Should I lodge a complaint, claim new one or I can attempt flash myself? Phone bought 12 hours ago.

no option to uninstall those apps, other apps can but not those..

did u find audio fx under settings?

or the custom cm11 build they installed... those might come pre installed as he did mentioned he cant uninstall it ...

definitely cm11s.

the reason some apps cant be deleted is because it was installed as system apps, ie installed via recovery and not from playstore. or it was changed to be recognized as system app by some 3rd party apps. or it was set as protected apps under settings > apps

the only reason i can think of on the weird cm version, is because the build prob has been edited. which means, the person who played with this set is not a new user, bcoz one needs to know how to edit build prob in order to do such thing.

my advice, if u just bought the device and paid it as a new set, go back to the seller and ask for a new set.

hey sorry, found AudioFX in the app tray, it's there.
don't think is used set, the screen still got the sticker, it's just that those pre-installed apps are annoying, maybe their own ROM version?

Agree with this, takes someone with knowledge to hardwire those apps to be system apps, damn playful if he edited build prop o.o

Even if sticker all still there the phone can still be turned on and fiddled with by the way :33

sticker can be easily applied back, just clean the screen, apply the sticker back.

resellers in malaysia usually needs to flash the device from colorOS to cm11s.

a fresh untempered CM11s will only have google apps and preinstalled cm11s apps

any issues/quirks going on with the latest version of untampered CM11S?

Mine came with CM11s out of the box I even tested my unit with the sticker on so should be able to do just about anything software related without removing sticker.
