Yes I respect your view in 4k. But there is few point which I think you missed when reading my reply. I already mentioned the topic I posted is about GTA V, which implicitly the topic is discussing about similar game. I also did mentioned SLI doesn't have full support compared to single GPU. One of the reason you doesn't get good fps in CrossFire may due to the developer didn't come out with patches to optimize the game. Most high demanding games have better patches compared to other game because there is more player on it. (Please get me correct, I said most not all) No offense but AMD is well known for their poor driver updates.

Take an example, Skyrim with heavy mod or DA:I. If you wish to play it in 4k with ultra settings, you need a SLI/Xfire to have a stable fps. Single GPU will hardly let you play the game. You keep emphasizing on type of games, and I already clearly told you that the game we're discussing about is GTA V and similar high demanding game. That's why I exclude other type of game. The reason I said single gpu can't support 4k gaming is because we clearly know we're talking about games like GTA V.

But did you read my post clearly ? I already did mention that it is considerable when it is the same price or almost similar, but this time it is different. Cause there is no promotion already (so far what I know yet)

One of the reason I don't recommend 4k screen is because if you're playing high demanding game, especially those that are not optimized enough yet, it will cause screen tearing because your display refresh rate is significantly lower than the fps you get. More new screen is generated than your screen can handle. You didn't encounter doesn't mean others won't. It is also related to the games you play and clearly TS is playing games similar to GTA V which is very GPU power hungry.

Yes I know lowering your resolution is a way to solve the issue. But what if the user is playing game which is very gpu power hungry only ? Do you intent to say lower the settings on all game you play ? Why not just purchase fhd since all your game will be in lower resolution than 4k. Yes 4k screen is useful in other way, but in this case we're talking about playing high demanding games. So image editing or other stuff should be excluded right ? I keep emphasizing high demanding game because you keep mention other game is playable in 4k but forget the point TS is playing games in that category.

I just don't recommend it, I didn't condemn it. Please read it clearly. Don't get me wrong

1. I did acknowledged there are tons of games out there which can support 4k. But the discussion of me and "TS" is into high demanding games, which you clearly failed to understand despite I explicitly told you in 2 posts.

2. I already acknowledged 4k is future tech, and it is a wise choice to pick it up if the price is reasonable (like in your case). But it is not for now, since there is no promotion going on now (as I know of)

3. You think I'm so dumb to leave a bad image (someone who argue a lot may tend to leave bad image) around and argue for the sake of winning ? If you think so then it's fine for me. As long as it suits you.

4. The reason I keep reply to your post is because, you keep misjudge or misunderstand my post I didn't even bring up Z5 and you're talking as I'm recommending it in this thread. Please don't make up stuff. I do recommend GT series over Ge62 because GT series has better air ventilation and there is MXM variant.

5. Since when did I said MSI 4k screen is crappy and Z5 fhd is the best ? Please DO SHOW ME WHEN DID I POST IT IN HERE. You are making a lot of stuff up yourself. Z5 is using the lowest grade IPS, AHVA.

You're the one who didn't get my meaning and you're judging me already. The stuff you mentioned were actually, ALREADY mentioned in my previous post, which you failed to get the meaning. (point 1 - 5 is already mentioned in my previous post FYI)


P.S: You need to know the initial discussion is about high demanding game, that is why I don't recommend 4k. Since gpu wise will hardly support it. Please don't say there is other games which can be played in 4k, because the discussion is BASED ON HIGH DEMANDING GAME
