If you are in RMIT, UNImelb, trinity advice is to stay in the city area... the rent also varies.
Unilodge, campus square, got one apartment between those i forgot the name ..maybe zltan or someone else can help... wink.gif
there is Carlton, many more...if you are under 18, there is also home stay which is good

if you are monash , clayton, caulfield or other..outside ...suburb like me

I notice asian really does have the notoriety to underpay, overwork employees.

Especially those from Hong Kong. Inevitable. I'm working whole load, getting paid little..thats just sad

I've gotten a lot of friends that says this. But i've got 90% of friends saying it, 5% was lucky enough to get the proper job at the proper time, another 5% assuming that this has always been the true case.
It's not about them exploiting, we all know they exploit. I wouldn't want to work if i can get other jobs. I've got a friend that has gone virtually the whole suburn of Clayton looking for a job, only to land in another waiter like job in a hong kong restaurant that like i say, fully utilizes people. It's not about self dignity, its about knowing the truth and maybe, for once, submissive about it.
