Butterfly effect exist in dota. All it takes is 1 moment of brilliance from a high mmr player to change the tide of the game.

What makes 6k players so good are intangible to players like us. Sometimes we might not agree with the decision made by that high mmr player or he might look average to us in that game. That's because our judgement are clouded by our cognitive bias. Our lack of game knowledge are preventing us from comprehending that high mmr player's decision. I've seen a 5.8k-5.9k meepo make a comeback from 2 rax down while my team still have T2 towers. He never joined fights that he cannot win, often times in that game he will let his teammates get wiped. When the right moment came, he joined the teamfight and raped us. To be honest i can micro my meepo as good as him, but its his patience and judgement that won him that game.

i always play solo mmr. then got this one day i play again solo mmr. All pinoy make my MMR from 4.5K dropping low to 2.9. then now raise back to 3.8. Damn PINOY.

Did you keep any records of this? It'd be interesting to analyze because most players only fluctuate +/-1k even at their worst.
