Hi all,

To put an end to all rumors, the new CX5 confirmed :

no auto tail gate/power boot,
no heads up display,
no sunroof
no BOSE sound system.

but overall ,its a major improvement over the current model. many changes inside ( including I-Activsense safety package )
*
so when is the launching date?
heard it is 27/08 then car delivery in Oct..

im willing to suck it up and book one without power tail gate and heads up display..

this spec has sensing feature but not comprehensive like the spec in australia or other country..

*Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA)
*Blind Spot Monitoring (BSM)
*Smart City Brake Support (Front)
*Smart City Brake Support ( Reverse)
*Lane Keep Assist (LKA)
*Lane Departure Warning System (LDWS)
*Driver Attention Alert (DAA)

all these are consider sensing feature... similar to honda sensing features also..

thats y i said it is consider good enough for me.. even without HUD and auto tail gate..

Just placed booking for the 2017 cx5 and hope to confirm the purchase when launching in Oct later.

Was torn between cx5 and crv, still checking out between these 2 of the specs comparison. smile.gif

2 questions...

for current owner..
RON95 or RON97?

for new owners..
machine gray or sonic silver? i somehow feel meteor gray looks better than machine gray which need +MYR2k for premium colour but too bad no meteor gray this batch..

must crop out la.. hahaha.. leave the highly recommended SAs on the right enough..

btw, this is their customary picture from them because apparently i was the first to get the car.. from their branch or maybe nationwide..

but there are another 2 cars delivered on the same day as well though..

the tint n coating vouchers how n where to use them? do u lready use it ?
its good quality or not? confused.gif
*
the tint is skytint.. under the sun got no effect at all..
i gonna change after my 1k service next week..
they recommended raytech and 3M.. raytech looks better and cheaper with 5mil.. so im going with that..
both raytech and 3M offers coating also.. but 2-3k for coating is kinda expensive for me.. so i'll skip.. although my sis told me that coating does wonders after a normal car wash.. ur car feels like just out from showroom..
