QUOTE(chekwui @ May 3 2017, 11:36 AM) If not mistaken, iStop is not using battery, it is using capacitor to temporary store regenerated power. Read it somewhere. Err..I think you are refer to i-ELOOP instead of i-STOP https://www.engadget.com/2011/11/26/mazdas-...acitors-instea/If not wrong current all CKD model no i-ELOOP feature, not sure about initial CBU which might have.... Hi all.
Wanted to ask all car owner either let madza agent do the car tinting or look for own tinting workshop?
Mazda agent told me if tinting perform by your side (workshop outside) without them, any damage to the car may void mazda warrantly.

I believe almost close to 90% of Mazda user did tinted from others company ... the Skytint really cannot pakai 1 for heat dissipation and expensive.... lots of user even remove their free Skytint and get better tinted....hardly I heard SA say don't do outside but only heard SA themselves might say ours not as good as outside top brand like Huper Optic, Vkool, 3M, HaverKamp etc hahaha This post has been edited by chuah_ph: May 11 2017, 09:15 AM

Have anyone here experience tyre puncture and replace it by urself?
I tried once using the jack given by mazda and is the normal type for all sedan cars.
And result is after I jacked up to maximum still is not high enough to change the 17" tyre.
So I wonder the jack tool given is it suitable for SUV?

Then 2.5 high spec how? 180k? Diesel.. 190k? Mazda better be prepared for stocks just sitting around. It's competitor, the CRV has been spotted undergoing testing on Malaysian roads.. Still going to wait for the zoom zoom and see how..

Mazdas are too expensive now. they keep hiking prices cuz they wanna get back to double-digit net margins.
strategy is different than say honda or toyota. bermaz is more reluctant to chase volumes cuz they want to sell each unit at good margins. Heard from an SA that Mazda wants to maintain RM15-20k margin per unit
2016 and ytd 2017 is already bad for them.
If the new CR-V is launched months ahead of the new CX-5, surely they will lose massive potential sales. Pricing is not even a question anymore. A well-specced CR-V will surely be priced around RM150k, well under CX-5's north of RM160k++

Summore, Mazda cars all near premium quality but its NVH not so great..
