QUOTE(peterwong88 @ Aug 14 2017, 06:41 PM) Hi all, no power tailgate accept, since it have 3rd party or install original in additional after buy the carTo put an end to all rumors, the new CX5 confirmed : no auto tail gate/power boot, no heads up display, no sunroof no BOSE sound system. but overall ,its a major improvement over the current model. many changes inside ( including I-Activsense safety package ) no heads up display, FXXX, how come it not come with this...... no sunroof, not an issue in malaysia no Bose sound system, some may cry without it.... |

QUOTE(voncrane @ Aug 16 2017, 12:39 PM) Some would appreciate the sunroof, after all I've driven around kl and spotted a few convertibles with their tops off and in broad daylight. A sliding sunroof at night is lovely.. The rest should have been included. Colored HUD/Active driving display, FULL Iactivsense, power boot, BSM, etc.. Why can't we have BOSE speakers too? Not the greatest for sound enthusiasts but better sound than what we are offered.. No? Not like we are paying any cheaper. The Aussies even have a "Side View Monitor" which helps one avoid kerbs or obstacles while parking, showing a side-mirror camera angle on the central screen. sunroof in malaysia most with or without also can, because still hot weather and maintenance not cheap at all.... As for third-party installation of power boot, get ready to kiss your warranty good bye for lights and whatever mechanisms function at the rear. Installers enjoice! I'm done ranting though... If they've got ears, let em listen. Wait for launch or the hastily applied "face-lift". P.S. You lurk around the FB group page too... speaker if give bose of course is good, but without for me still acceptable and i will have a cheap solution to max the speaker sound potential if everything worry about for warranty, then don't add any accessories into ur car included some scruff plate with led, car camcorder, what's mean plug and play door lock, mirror fold module..... because on real got some brand SC will said void warranty because u add this add that.... if they wan void ur warranty sure a lot excuse to make it..... No offence bro, just install which u need to use because u need the features. how u know me..... |

QUOTE(voncrane @ Aug 16 2017, 01:34 PM) Japan, USA, Australia and Indonesia!.. Not hot meh? Expensive maintenance? Puhleese, doors and power windows are operated far more frequently than the glass sunroof, don't see em breaking anytime soon. If one is scared of breaking it, then don't open it. Let those who enjoy such, partake. I'd like to see an inexpensive third party method of installing that if needed. If we the consumers keep giving them the excuses to use, then they'll never improve. do u think that ur sunroof will cost u cheaper if it malfunction? and if one day ur sunroof rubber seal leakage to ur roof cover, that's mean u have to clean or change few part of it and prepare ur money for repair (if under warranty then u r very good luck). No offense taken, I understand your viewpoints.. Unsure if you understand my POV too. About the warranty, I'm just reporting what a few SA told me. To sum up: Plug and play accessories are fine until they directly or indirectly cause a problem to a connected part. One does not lose warranty on the whole car, but on the particular section only. I.e. You enable door auto-lock mechanism while driving and all is good, then one day your car's normal door locking mechanism begins to malfunction. Send it in for warranty claim, only to be told it was voided when you installed the third-party stuff. Means, have to cough up dunno how much to fix what could very well have been a factory defect. That's an example of the conversation I had with an SA. Apply the same principle to aftermarket power boot. hoho, i already told that, no matter how it's plug and play all have risk, when u change it then u have to prepare that u got risk to void ur car warranty. As their rules change wheel can void ur warranty also, exhaust muffler lower spring etc.... For me i will think that u only install the features that which u need, just a sample point like car security alarm system, factory which come with the features i never see how it function, so i go outside install a better alarm for my car to get a better protection, so do i save the money of alarm system for car warranty issue or one day i was unlucky and my car kena steel to claim insurance for lost or window break without any alarm trigger?? All SA SC was talking some same thing and what bullshit i know, just don't wan bother too much of it because i trust more on mazda quality and i'm not particular some small issue then many complain on internet. i just wanna get what i wan and useful for me, i buy the car for myself & family but not for SC SA or other else i dunno. P.S : i have a friend who bought i T.Altis new car and install bodykit after 3 weeks, when he drink to SC they told my friend ur car warranty all has been void because u install bodykit.... so my friend just scold them and drive his car to outside workshop service, never return to toyota anymore |
