*
Lol, did you post this in the jade hill thread as well? Jade hills also fairly ulu, so far, morning and evening jam pack as well.... brows.gif brows.gif

By the way, talking in terms of personal perception no use one, show some proofs to support the point so call SEH is so ulu, until an extent as BBW's said, 2.5 hours per trip during rush hour.. brows.gif brows.gif

Normally won't travel during peak period, but last Friday a heavy rain near KL cause me to stuck in traffic jam.

Furthermore, last Friday is a long weekend friday, super congested in KL... doh.gif doh.gif

So, finally have chance to try the traffic from KL city center to Semenyih during peak hour, plus long weekend Friday and raining... doh.gif doh.gif The route chosen is KL - Cheras - Kajang - Semenyih

Fetch my taling around dataran merdeka around 6.26 pm.... cry.gif cry.gif

Finally reach EkoCheras / leisure mall at around 7.05 pm... That's mean using about 40 minutes to travel from dataran merdeka to cheras leisure mall, with a distance merely about 10km... shakehead.gif shakehead.gif

After Cheras batu 9 toll, traffic congestion started to diminish..... thumbup.gif thumbup.gif

After the congested cheras leisure mall route, the traffic become smooth and I able to reach the junction to Sungai Long 7.22pm... thumbup.gif thumbup.gif

While from dataran merdeka to cheras leisure mall takes me 40 minutes for about 10km travel, from cheras leisure mall to sungai long junction is about 9km as well, but this portion of route of takes me about 16 minutes instead... rclxms.gif rclxms.gif

Finally I reach Semenyih Lekas exit at around 7.36pm, which is about 16km away from Sungai Long junction...

This final stretch consists of smooth traffic indeed... thumbup.gif thumbup.gif

Total time taken is 1 hour 10 minutes.... Friday evening with following Monday public holiday plus raining...

For me, it's a quite reasonable time... nod.gif nod.gif

So how long does it take if you need to commute from Setia Ecohill to KLCC, assuming you leave home at 7am?

I never try, perhaps you can tell me instead... brows.gif brows.gif

By the way, there is only one thing I need to remind you, working in KL doesn't mean must work in KLCC... brows.gif brows.gif

1 hour 10 minutes is acceptable if you are on a train and can do some reading.

If driving 1hr 10 minute twice a day, 5 times a week...probably not! The stress to commute is not worth it.
*
Worth or not worth, it is depending on individual perception I suppose.

Those who stay near to working place, maybe will tell you spending 70 minutes in train is not worth as well, or traveling 40 minutes twice a day is not worth as well.. brows.gif brows.gif

I only share my experience traveling during peak hour (which I seldom do) and let all the potential buyers to justify whether it is worth or not worth...
