There is no argument needed.
Bottom line you are not allowed to let others use your card even your spouse (with or without your permission unless you are present during the swiping).
Its like cheating once you're caught you might have to pay the cost (usually not so strict worse case your card got cancel by bank).
That is the main reason people seems to not notice this is a breaking of law due to the low penalty.
In Malaysia yes the culture is that nobody checked your card signature.
But oversea like in Germany even supermarket checks your signature but still bottom line depends on whether the person checking it allow you to use it or not.
In malaysia the current norm seems to be one try to get away with what you can until you get caught this is probably due to poor enforcement of law & order making ones habit "tak apa" and "small matter" more and more a social norm.
So just because you think its just a small matter doesn't mean it is ok to do it and not illegal.
Side note: Didn't get a waiver for AF and GST for my 2nd year of wise combo. Have to pay rm 210.
*
I agree what you said until the last line. It is NOT illegal, because this is a matter of T&C not law.

Is a criminal offence actually. That's why he chicken out and don't dare on replying me.
And yes, 2nd onward is not likely to get waived. Maybe you may try call and ask for waiver. Just don't put high hope on this.
*
Sure bro, please report polis and wait them take action ya? Respond to you you tak suka, tak respon lagi tak suka.

At least now you're not doing your 'for sure no waive' line when sendiri lucky to get waive. Good job.

I'm a little confused... so the 10% cash back is activated only after the below:

1. 10 swipes per month
2. each swipe must at least be RM50
3. must the swipe fall under same category selected?
4. Does the cash rebate activated after 10 swipes, also rebate the 1st 10 swipes (if it is within same selected category)
5. Is there a notification alerting us that the 10% cash back is activated?
6. Does online banking, such as paying for utilities like Astro, water, electricity also eligible for the 10% cash back?

I find it a little hard to have at least 10 transactions of RM50 minimum. A lot of my activities usually revolve around RM20-40+, like movie, meals or even groceries.

What do you guys usually spend it to achieve the first 10 swipes?
*
Already mostly answered, but for 3. - the swipe can be under any category. So for example you make 9xRM50 swipes for Petrol and then 1xRM200 swipe for your insurance, you will 'activate' that month's rebate.

Of course, you only get rebate for the RM450 spent, the RM200 doesn't get anything. So better to only swipe what you can get rebate on (in your 3 categories). In fact if you can't reliably get RM70 or so cashback, probably better to cut this card after first year to avoid paying annual fee.

So this is more for CASA holder, if I have the credit card but no CASA won't be able to receive anyway.

Fortunately I do have CASA. Anyone wanna pm me their referral code? First come first serve =) rather than I install the app and sign up for no benefit, may as well get RM10. Then I have to find ppl to give code to.

New member reporting in!

I just got my card, and send the msg to 33188 for activation, but keep on sending fail. I am pretty sure not network issue, as i can call and text others.

Anyone know why? Or is there any other activation method?

Thanks
*
What network you're using? Those 6 digit numbers sometimes limited only to the Big 3 (Maxis, Celcom, Digi) or Big 4 (+Umobile). Normally all the other carries cannot send to those numbers.

I make it very simple, this shall not be your first card.
Only get this card if your spending average on 1500-2000 every month.
If you spend on other categories, it will dilute your cash back.
And you can use it to make some extra money thumbup.gif

I have a different opinion. This card should be your fixed expenses card. Those that won't change much from month to month. Utility bills (for those with high ones), phone bill, and grocery/petrol (depending which one is more).

For those 'one-off' bills use Maybank2Kard or AEON.

Then?
2013 March I got it, 2013 AF waived as per the agent, 2014 waived without my knowledge. Last month I got charged AF.

Then the number of people who have this card since the beginning as yourself is not as many. Hence not surprising if don't see reported on LYN.

Hard to understand?
