Seem like HL bank process credit card super slow

16/4 - submitted application
22/4 - sales person only help to submit on today mad.gif
8/5 - after 10 working days, received sms from bank about process application
9/5 - received sms about card arrange for delivery immediately

Until now the card is yet to arrive, from submit until now almost a month. Checked back the record here that only 3 working days to be received. No idea what is going on. going to call CS inquiry with it

I personally noticed that HLB CS is not so friendly as I have called them 3 times previously sad.gif

Well, for me to prevent from raising my blood pressure :
1. I choose groceries, petrol and Mobile(selected by default)
2. always making sure completing 10 rm50 transaction by 2nd week.
3. shall not swipe the card for cash back on the last 1 week before end of month.

HLB are taking all steps to deny you the cash back as far as possible. Like this month has 31 days, if your cash back already rm100(done rm985-1000) and you swipe another rm100 transaction on 30th or 31st, it post on 31st which you won't get cash back(remember, cash back are counted based on transaction posting date).
But if your cash back for this month just reached rm800(swiped rm800) and you are doing the "final" transaction on 30th or 31st, it will usually posted on 1st or 2nd next month.
So far my record on transaction being posted are delayed by 9 days, which I missed rm10 of cash back.

Still, it is the highest cash back card in the market, you need strategies to get the max cash back thumbup.gif

Cash back based on transaction posting date??? I know cash back based on posting date right

Above you mentioned, if I doing final transaction on 31st May and posting date on 2nd next month (June), mean this cash back will be consider as June month right

Yup, this is particularly useful for petrol transaction where 1st day of the month the price of petrol will be increased brows.gif

Yes, technically you are right. But if they post it on the same date, finish.

Better than decrement of petrol price right? If you pump on 30/31 and the price drops on 1st then really doh.gif

i know it will not reduce for sure. based on past few months trend, i know they will increase the price. but i forgotten that there were two by-elections going on during that time and they finally decided to maintain the price to woo voters.

Petrol price in Malaysia are political control based. In May the price increase should be rm0.20 but because of bi-election, government never increase the rpice. So in June, minimum rm0.20 of increase, worst case, rm0.30.

Wonder anybody experienced about it?
