It's not a spam, it was a legitimate question in this topic as to why he repetitively calling the subject topic as stupid card. Perhaps he has some misunderstandings about this card and he can discuss about it in this thread.
*
he already has valid issues with this card and been lenghty debated.

feel free to report the specific posts if it warrant mods/staffs to intervene (nature of words used, although name calling wasnt directed to forumers here but to the card itself sweat.gif )

Yes, all his issues was debated and it was over. But the name calling to the card keep coming repetitively after the debate. Unless he has new issue with the card otherwise I don't think such behavior is appropriate in Finance, Business, Investment House forum.
As for the report button, It is only fair to give supersound a chance to explain his action before reporting.
*
it's being done consciously and on purpose. furthermore, such posts are technically off-topic since the "new name" doesnt mean it's HLB Wise, per se. it could be other cards too. laugh.gif

i'm trying to use wise to pay digi postpaid for the first time and i getting some obstacles.

the principal line is under my sister name and i am subline.
ystdy i called digi customer service asking whether can change my sister credit card to my credit card for auto payment.
and the answer is no, reason given is only the credit card name is the same as principal line owner name can be used to make auto payment.
then i asked another question, can i cancel the auto payment and then i use my credit card to make payment manually, either online or at kiosk.
the answer still no, reason given is the same as above.

u guys that using digi postpaid, is this true?
*
bs la.

i'm paying my friend's digi postpaid for months now. in fact, regardless of whether tied to autopayment or not, manual payment should always go thru, unless digi has this weird policy (or too rich) to get money from us.

Just swiped at Aeon Big today to enjoy the 5% rebate on every 28th of a month promotion. But just worry if the transaction only posted on next Monday which is already 1-Dec. This is my 10th transaction on Nov, I don't want to miss it just because I miss this transaction.
*
did you swipe before with this Aeon Big outlet?

you would roughly know how long it will take to post transaction. you could be safe, if it usually take 1-2 days to post the transactions. if happened 3 days posting before, then it's risky.

nope, it comes out error...this is why i asked here...
previously i can view from there..

2 questions:

1) new card? when did u get the card?
2) do u know your bill date?

FYI, Unbilled Transactions (before bill date) will be in Home >> Account Details >> Credit Card

after bill date, details are in Home >> My Statement >> Online Statement

However, with the introduction of email bill statement, online statement will not generate immediately. eg. my bill date was 7-Dec, online statement has not been generated yet. previously, i can see it immediately.

I guess still need to wait 1-2 days after bill date to get the online statement ready/generated.

There is a slight difference between transaction/swipe vs merchant claim from bank vs posting to CC account.

In each swipe, the transaction is captured by bank. This transaction is left unclaimed (floating) for 7 days. The merchant need to claim this transaction. Once claimed, only bank can post it to your CC account as successful swipe. If left unclaimed past 7 days, the transaction is failed and removed from your account.

Add on another 1-day delay for HLB Connect to refresh the account details.

Posting delay with HLB sometimes a double-edged "feature". Good to shift the swipe to next calendar month/bill date (u swipe today but wanted it to get posted later). Bad if you're betting the transaction to be posted in current calendar month (to hit 10x RM50 swipes).

I'm with the former method, usually swipe on bill date or last day of the month so that it get posted for next bill or next calendar (cashback reset) if cb already full. I'm buying time to repay the bill biggrin.gif

Called up just now to try to get AF waived but the CRO insisted that for Wise card cannot be done. Even when I said that I've never paid AF for any cards and I will cancel Wise card if I have to pay for AF, they wouldn't give in... sigh!

Dilemma now. Should I cancel cos of principle not to pay AF for nothing, or be practical and pay up since ultimately it still saves cash?
*
Isn't this too late?

If cancel now, last month's month cashback won't be credited. Still lose.

Only u know and to weigh the benefits of paying AF vs monthly cashback.

I bring in some example:
Category i choose:petrol,utilities, mobile

Example 1:
Monthly expenses:
9xrm50=rm450(grocery)
1xrm50=rm50(petrol)
Cashback=rm50?
Remark:min 10 transactions achieved n 10 minimum rm50 swipe achieved

Example 2:
10xrm40=rm400(outside 10 categories)
1xrm50=rm50(petrol)
Cashback=rm5?
Remark:min 10 transactions achieved n  1 minimum rm50 swipe achieved

Example 3;
9xrm50=rm450(petrol)
1xrm40=rm40(mobile)
Cashback=rm49?
Remark:min 10 transactions achieved n 9 minimum rm50 swipe achieved

Am i correct?anyone please tell me the answer ><
*
Example 1: yes to eligible/activate cashback. no to cashback amount. only those spent within chosen category will get cashback, which will be RM5 (10% of RM50 petrol only).
Example 2: no cashback at all. minimum 10 transactions must be each RM50.
Example 3: same as example 2.

Thanks alot! Really clear my doubts. Btw may i know where to pay my utilities payment(digi,telekom,waterbill & internet under tm) as i read through the forum someone mentioned uobpayonline qualify for transactions but not for the amount we pay even more than rm50?
*
under Wise's Utilities category, only Syabas and TNB eligible. Telekom not in any categories cuz neither mobile nor utilities.

pay digi via uobpayonline, yes.

bolded: as long as you have achieve min 10x RM50 transactions, any amount more than that within categories will be given cashback.

Example 5;
9xrm60=rm540 (petrol)
1xrm40=rm40 (mobile)
1xrm80=rm80 (out of 10 category listed, e.g Telekom)
Cashback=rm58
Remark:min 10 transactions achieved n 10minimum rm50 swipe achieved

Wait.. so you guys are buying the vouchers using the card to help achieve the RM50 x 10 cashback requirements?
*
not necessarily.

i did this on 1st month after gotten Wise card. 2nd months onwards, i started to consolidate with other expenses (mobile and grocery) from family member biggrin.gif

once spending pattern normalized and gotten to know the usual merchants, you can start preplanning and do your own tracking.

May i know how is the cash back function. Cause the cashback always calculate on 28th date. Eg. My statement is from 1st to 28th then it must 10 transaction in tat period? Then the next statement 29th (with 31 ) to 25th. No cashback as no 28th date.then the next statement 26th will include 2month cash back with cap of 200?
*
cashback calculation (including the 10xRM50 transactions) is per calendar month; based on posting date

cashback given on the following 28th.

bill date has no relation to the cashback.
