I think they tried to balance it out but overdid it. I got a Plan C from one of the tiger strikes and i think it might be better than the VM.

Seems Xur really does follow the primary > special > heavy, so here's hoping next week is Ice breaker as special *fingers crossed*

Btw not sure if anyone's posted this, but you can check your stats in destinydb.com. Just search your psn id (no password required) and they'll load your character, equipment and you can check your PvE and PvP stats. Cool.

what level are you at now? if lvl 27 above with some good equipment i suggest doing the highest and get the 9 coins straight. This week's strike is solo-able, so with 3 people it should be a breeze. You can also get coins from the vanguard tiger strikes. You can add me (psn id : unif1end) if you want.

Minimum 25 for you to join the level 28 strike. Get to 25 so people can carry you doing nightfall. The regular weekly is a little bit of a pain to do without the arc boost like nightfall lol.

at 5 lvls difference its a guaranteed 1 shot death. You can try your luck with two strong teammates, using one of the 3 cheese spots

You cant join activity that is 3 level higher than you due to scaling. An easy way I explain to people is that in level 28 strike, at level 25 you are doing 75% less damage to mobs, so below level 25 you received 100% damage penalty, thus mobs are immune to your weapons (this is just a rough percentage that i gave to made it easy to explain to other people, there's a thread in official forum that do calculate how much the exact penalty you received)

one is at the entry, another one is under the platform near where the boss appear

The third is not actually a cheese spot, but its impossible to die since enemies dont chase or attack you there. Its the ledge where you drop into the boss zone. The other two is the cliff high up on the left of the entrance, and the platform one. Helped me to solo the nightfall during the vandal/shank/dreg waves. But against the boss i still used the platform one, since i didnt want to risk getting booted to orbit
