Ahhhh!! I got mine already!! Very happy with it!! Tried with few games...Call of Duty Advanced Warfare all set to high and ultra can get roughly 70-100 FPS!! The temperature is also nice! About 70 celcius only but my CPU can get up to 86 celcius X_X

Wa, Assassin's Creed Unity is quite demanding...my FPS couldnt go beyond 65...mostly hovering 50-60 and sometimes even below 30 X_X

seem game is too buggy. my 7870 can run it at 10+ fps only. set to low. Duh. running advance warfare like a champion. haha.

Certainly looks nice for that price tag and it's using a Custom PCB.  smile.gif
But, the overall design looks a bit dull and cheap, probably due to the thin/small HSF.

There's places where Leadtek, Palit, Gainward, etc are selling like RM 1000(more or less) only.

I not sure want to buy 2x GeForce GTX 980 or 2x GeForce GTX 970... XD
I am concern about the noise thingy.  tongue.gif

Price/performance wise, GTX980 just don't worth it.

Might as well consider Tri-SLI GTX970. brows.gif

I also believe that GTX 980 does not worth the price for the performance gained. But that is just me. I would rather stick with 1 GTX 970 now...then future just slap in another 1. Price wise would be quite similar but better performance. However, do take note of the heat, power consumption and noise. Power consumption...don't think it will be an issue since it's quite efficient.

try to get the same model to avoid complications.

a 500w should be able to run SLI for those just fine but I recommend going for a 600w PSU.

Like Asus GTX980 Strix equals 2x Gainward GTX970 reference. The price is ridiculous for Asus. Two of Asus GTX980 Strix equals cheaper three factory overclocked GTX970 of other brands.

Sorry to hijack, but it really does seem that gtx980 is not worth the price.

Thought of upgrading to a gtx980 for that 2gb leap from my old gtx680.

Sad case is that there are no shops in Kuching with 900 series YET. T_T

Is it alright if I were to just order from shop in West Malaysia?

You can try ordering from http://www.idealtech.com.my or a user called lingloong.

On the side note, Gainward GTX970 Phantom at RM1199 has higher overclock than Asus GTX970 Strix at RM1499

Gainward GTX970 Phantom:

Thanks for the info. ot sure if my mobo can SLI properly. Would definitely go for 2 970s since 980 is out of the question.

Thanks again. Looks like I have to find a way to accommodate my sound card (STX) if i were to go 970 SLI. Since the Gainward Phantom takes 2 slots.
