QUOTE(KaiHD @ Oct 14 2014, 04:08 PM) true, i agree with you on that. but it doesn't disprove the fact that for now the iPhone 6 is the fastest and best for multitasking stock smartphone though. Seriously??? Typical fan boy talkAre you aware of what is real multitasking? This post has been edited by benny888: Oct 14 2014, 04:32 PM |

QUOTE(hafez13 @ Oct 14 2014, 04:16 PM) Sources told me they will try to make it on the 1st November. Same like last years Iphone 5s. But then again, they have to wait for the greenlight from Apple because this will depends on the allocation of stocks Apple has for Malaysia.QUOTE(benny888 @ Oct 14 2014, 04:30 PM) This post has been edited by TOMEI-R: Oct 14 2014, 04:42 PM |

QUOTE(melonlicious @ Oct 14 2014, 04:30 PM) I'm using Z3 and happy with it. I love the camera, the design, the mp3 hi def sound, the display, and waterproof feature. But somehow, i miss iPhone. To me, iPhone is more convenience to transfer such as photo to my PC rather than using Z3. My Sony Bridge keep crashing when transferring pics from Z3 and I can't transfer my pics. really regret give my ip6 to my wife. Now, have to wait iPhone officially in malaysia market since my previous contract will end by 31st oct. The question is, should i take 6 or 6+? huh |

For me, the battery life of my 6 Plus wins it over any weaknesses it has over the 6. Am still using my 6 now for my secondary line, and will pass it to my wife to use later on.But somehow, i miss iPhone. Thanks for the valuable feedback. As mentioned a few posts back, I've been using Android for 2 years now, skipped a few generations of the iPhone so I have nothing to compare against. Definitely. The physical battery capacity of the iPhone 6 is much more than the iPhone 5S. Those are some very good figures. Guess if I do go for either one, power bank not required. I guess I'd fall into the "average to low-end heavy" user scale. |

QUOTE(1likegadg3t @ Oct 14 2014, 04:14 PM) Mutltitasking = deal with more than one task at the same time./execute more than one program or task simultaneously. QUOTE(benny888 @ Oct 14 2014, 04:30 PM) I would say that your definition of multitasking and my definition would be different. For me multitasking does not have to mean simultaneously running two (or more) apps on the screen. If I listen to music while typing a document, that's multitasking. AirPlay video or audio to a TV while browsing Twitter, that's multitasking. Downloading a movie while typing an email, that's multitasking. Going by your definition, the iPhone has true multitasking too (since it can deal with more than one task at any one time). Furthermore, if you say the Galaxy S5 or HTC One (M8) has better multitasking, why did it finish slower than the iPhone 6 in the video? If they can run multiple apps simultaneously like you say, then they shouldn't have to reload any app when switching between apps. The app should still be running, yet in the video we see some apps have to be reloaded (ie. look at Galaxy S5 in the video, on the second round it has to reload Photoshop from scratch, but the iPhone already has it loaded from the first round.) Granted, the Galaxy Note (not sure about the S5) can run more than one app on the screen simultaneously, but the use cases of doing so on a smartphone I think is quite limited. Like one recent Samsung ad showed someone watching a movie while writing an email on his smartphone, I would think that is not an enjoyable experience. |

I think it is common knowledge that when we say multitasking, it refers to 2 apps or more running on the same screen.
I agree with you that iPhone can multitask in that sense, that it can run the app "in the background" like playing music while I type an email. However in the truest sense, it is NOT multitasking. |

Like one recent Samsung ad showed someone watching a movie while writing an email on his smartphone, I would think that is not an enjoyable experience. To me writing an email while watching youtube (youtube screen is behind the email apps) as shown in the samsung ads is purely stupid and doesnt make sense. Being able to multitask but end up have to sacrifice one of the screen viewing experience. It is NOT a true multitasking imo. Unless u have a big ass phone as the size of an ipad then u can do multitasking without sacrificing one of the view (cascade windows), then i consider it as a true multitasking. And as the test shown, it doesnt matter if iPhone doesn't multitask, but the fact that it runs faster on the "second" test is the most important part. In real life situation you wouldnt want to reload your apps everytime, thus this shows that the S5 suck. Haha. |

To share my humble opinion, you guys are expecting too much from a phone with a single mini screen.
Its just a phone, is not en effing 3 screens computer where you can open up few programs and use them at once like what we can do with our home desktop. Just tell me one thing, why do you need apps running simultaneously on one single screen? Do you have 20 fingers? If we are talking about apps running in the background, then yes we need that. For instance, music app. IT IS JUST A SMARTPHONE, NOT A DESKTOP COMPUTER. jeezzz....... This post has been edited by DuDe5593: Oct 14 2014, 06:24 PM |
