Just make it as a separate DLC, like those high res texture packs from Skyrim, Sleeping Dogs or Grid Autosport.

If I am not going to use it, why do I need it in my system to begin with? And those high res textures or audio does take up tonnes of space.

It is the same for many other genres, example:

New racing game,it is shit, derp, because it isnt AC.

New RTS is out, herp derp, it sucks cause it isnt starcraft.

So sick of this kind of closed minded people. If you want more dark souls, then go play Demon Souls, Dark Souls or Bloodborne than go around shitting on other games because they are not made with Dark Souls mold. It feels like these people made it feel like there should be only one type of game in that genre.

Well, some people just expects every other similarly themed and gameplay games to be exactly like Dark Souls.

I say, expect to see Dark Souls elitism rise in the next few years. It is a great game but expecting every single other game to be like that tell how closed minded they are. I dont go into another game expect it to be similar to a game I love as every game is unique to me.

I don't know man, I find most AAA to be pretty dull these days. It is all about social or pointless grinding these days while does not offer much in gameplay. It's like they ran out of ideas on how to make the game fun so just shove it full of social features and grinding to keep people playing for the next level up. The more hyped the game, the less likely I'll buy because of it will eventually end up as disappointment due to rushed products like BF4 or just plain disappointment like Destiny or Watch Dog. While we get sleeper hits like Shadow of Mordor that has much lesser lofty promises and marketing because people are not going into expecting it to be an instant classic with overhyped expectations.

GTA Online can be great, just like GTA 4's multiplayer where you just get together, cause some trouble, shoot your friends then drive to the sunset laughing at each other. Instead of the grind, the "economy" and microtransactions that is just dull in GTA Online.

Games should be fun to begin with even if you are playing as a solo players or play only an hour a day. Not it only becomes fun if you grind like a second job or only when you have friends. It is like what TB said, watching paint dry with friends can be fun too where just because a mediocre game is fun with friends, it doesn't mean that it's a well thought out game with fun mechanism.

For me, I'll probably just go further and further into the depths of racing and strategy as I think these are the market with numerous smaller developers that is actually trying something interesting. Instead of all these large publishers that just want to hype it up before release then release a mediocre product because they just gave people too much hype that blow their expectations sky high.

About the game, pCARS is really good at the moment and it will be one of the most feature complete sim with fully implemented pit stops, day-night cycle, weather and so on. If you dont want pits, you can turn it off. 60+ cars on release with about 50 tracks. There are options to make it easier to play if you are coming from Forza or Grid and the game will support your demand till you want full simulation.

It is a pretty good time to be a PC racer.

Looks like BLPS is just another average game with not much changes to BL2 gameplay. Pass then.

I did watch some streams, it is largely the same but if you like BL2, you'll like this one. Most reviews claiming the same thing.

It is not like its bad but after being burned by UVHM, I aint gonna get into the game now then waste my time trying to grind for UVHM because UVHM is poorly tuned. It is up to you to believe what I said or not but I aint gonna buy it now because it is shorter and I have no idea what they want to do with the season pass. Dont really have much faith on them after the BL2 season pass with some subpar content.
