1-1! Balo taps in a great cross from Borini!

Not sure if we are watching the same game here. Apart from a short spell later in the first half we've played with no tempo and no creativity all game. Passing is slow and predictable. Movement is poor. Less said about our crossing the better. Offense is dire if you ask me. Markovic looks even worse than Downing.
*
Well, compared to previous games, this movement is better. Created more chances and bossed the opponent. Several chances wasted by Couts with poor attempts but he makes up for it with his creativity. Also, agree with u on Marko. Subbing him out for Lala is indeed a great move

I am guessing after so many matches, your expectation lowered quite a lot huh... laugh.gif
*
perhaps. but the team played well from the start IMHO. they started slacking after they conceded the goal. a bit harsh to concede since everyone, except for the obvious Marko, was having a good game. well at least Mario came and equalized and Lovren able to make amends by bagging the winner in the last minute of the game rclxms.gif

QUOTE(reehdus @ Oct 29 2014, 08:10 AM)
yay for italian mafia...sad lambert didn't get a goal though. poor guy must be feeling so left out...everyone criticises balotelli yet he still made it to the hull game squad ahead of lambert
*
to be honest, he was great during the game. excellent positioning, great ball control and distribution. only lacking from him is speed but thats it.

QUOTE(genjo @ Oct 29 2014, 09:47 AM)
Worth it for me to wake up and watch full match.

First half is decent, then starting of 2nd half the performance is dropped.

I thought we are gone after the goal from swansea. But, a nice comeback !

And the drought ended for Balo.

Hopefully this will boost his performance.

Edit : Borini should be given chance on 1st team.
*
this. he gave it his all in that game. he deserves his chance.

Last night i was impress with coutinho... Not for his misses thou but his character on the field is simply improved. He's like a captain last night, leads the attack and keep yelling at others to make those run forward... Oh my.. This boy is getting better n better....
*
agreed. IMHO he commanded the team better than Hendo, or at least commanded the attacks. lol.

The conclusion is BR should had always play 2 strikers, and not Balotelli as one man up front. And is time for Gerrard to bench and become impact sub.
*
agreed on playing 2 strikers though somehow the formation earlier looked like we're playing a solo striker in Lambert. having Borini to cover was a great tactic played by the boss but i cant quite agree on having Stevie as an impact sub. IMHO he should just sit out from simple games, though it may not seem simple for the squad now, just because he needs the rest to focus more on big games. flex.gif

Cout's thru pass ssliiiggghty faster than it shud. Lamber, Borini and Balo was too slow for that.

Yeah. He was obviously dissapointed last nite when passes to the front wasted. Which is good. Means they have the desire. He played like real brazilian last nite.

And a long shot by Johnson. that was a rocket!
*
about Glen, it seems that he looks more comfortable on the left side of the pitch compared when he's playing on the right hmm.gif

And again, with Glen in the game, we won.....
*
he was on his toes! tracked back and even made it in time for a last minute tackle!

but but....both Glen and Lucas are recently rumored to be heading out by January and they gave a hell of a show earlier today. following Suarez' footsteps in stepping up their game for their exit? sweat.gif

well, by end of season glen will be free agent and with no new contract in sight...BR obviouslu would like to get a few million from him before he leaves for free.
*
Thus, leveraging on the current winning streak with him in the starting squad? laugh.gif

Bro, regards how suck he was in the game or give u multi orgasm heart attacks with him start and play in the line up. Liverpool winning percentage is very high.
*
nope. his performance didn't gave any heart attacks! thats why i said he seemed more comfortable playing on the left side of the pitch! thumbup.gif

No need to look far for a Balo witch hunt. Well, at least this thread will be Balo-free until the weekend.

Needing two goals in the dying minutes to win the tie. Not impressed by BR at all.
