Still too early to judge the full backs but I'd say that they have been an encouragement. They can be better but at least they have been more good than bad. In any case, the whole defence needs to be a whole lot better anyway; and that includes the goalkeeper and the midfielder that's supposed to be shielding them.

Hopefully Lallana continues to improve. I'm more concerned about Coutinho's form though. And also what BR is going to do to fix the problem upfront as well.

Di Maria, Sanchez were from different league & they need time to adapt with PL too.. oh wait.

So much hate for Lambert but I think he is doing better than Balo to be honest. At least he harasses their defenders can give them no time on the ball forcing them to go long and we can regain the ball on knockdowns.

Or you could think of it this way. We looked more lively today than we have been with Balo leading the line. Individually Balo is way better than Lambert no doubt, but the way he stops play and slows our tempo makes it difficult for the rest of our offensive cast. This is something he has to learn.

Imagine if that was Balo getting the ball from Lallana instead of Hendo. Think most of us can tell what he's gonna do with the ball. He will hold it for a good 3 secs then gradually opening up his body followed by repeated attempts to drag the ball into an open area for a shot from outside. Whereas Lambert would've done something similar to Hendo's. This is evident from his more than 10 assists last season as he has done so time and time again with Lallana at Soton.

My point is Balo is not adapting well to our style and I'm not sure if he is even trying to but I'll give him time for sure.

Lambert is useless... balo is hopeless... borini is headless... sets of stiker we have.

If you guys can sort out your strikers issue, and United aka scums aka manure can sort out the defence, and Arsenal can sort out their strikers as well, plus Spurs and Everton, and maybe Southampton in the mix, this would be a season to remember.

look at the performance between mignolet and de gea, both got leaky defence but it was de gea heroic performance that help mu to 3 points vs everton. mignolet had not been producing that kind of performance for a long time and we had yet include the number of errors he committed this season.

Man City and Arsenal not far from us as well..... it's gonna be crunch time. Reus suite our style as BVB is playing same style like us and singing YNWA. Hope this will give us a little bit of edge on getting him here.
