I sent them an email yesterday that I only submitted one application by using two methods.
The CS called me just now and confirmed that there is only one application being approved. |

Guys, Maybank has received the payment from Aeon. I think the cheques just cleared today.
I have unbilled transactions for my AmEx and Visa MBB2Cards, what I can see now is it has deducted my unbilled transactions and only show the balance. How can I request back from Maybank for the whole amount Aeon paid and not after Maybank's deductions? My bill only due in mid of next month, don't want to clear the amount so soon... Thanks. |

QUOTE(tbheng @ Dec 18 2014, 11:39 AM) When is your statement date? My statement date is 24th. OK, I will call them later. If your due date is mid month, then I guess your statement is ~ 25. Call CS soon to request to transfer that payment (from AEON) to your CASA, otherwise you will get a Credit balance in your next statement (assuming your BT amount was bigger than your unbilled amount). Edit: I normally call them and settle it before the next statement. Not sure can still request after it has been statemented. Thanks for the tips. |

QUOTE(tbheng @ Dec 18 2014, 12:16 PM) Just another headsup, don't be panic that CS will tell the transfer will take 8 working days (from their SOP script). OK, will call them fast after my meeting. My boss is with me now. Based on my past 3 requests, they did it within 2 working days. Since your statement is 24, you better call them fast fast. |

QUOTE(tbheng @ Dec 18 2014, 02:24 PM) Actually must do in M2U, cannot do in branch. My parents who are not IT literate, wanted this account too but were refused in the branch. They told them this must be done in M2U...Anyway, just called Maybank for the overpayment... She wasn't that friendly and kept saying I cannot get back the full amount paid by AEON. After trying to convince her for a while, she said will apply for me but subject to management's approval and yes she told me 8 working days and I stayed calm about this. Do you think I will get back the full amount? I told her the bill is not generated yet and it will only due in mid of next month, I may need the money for other purposes... QUOTE(tbheng @ Dec 18 2014, 04:26 PM) I would say 50-50, as MBB has not been consistent on this. There was once, they only transfer the balance after net off the unbilled amount. Says Unbilled = 3k, BT#1 = 5k; I called to request to transfer 5k; the CS say ok, but end up only transfer 2k. I called back to complaint and they transfer the remainder 3k; but partly also my BT#2 = 3k just posted. The early experience similar like the above, but they straight transfer 5k though there were unbilled amount. All the best to you. Luckily my unbilled amount is just 700+ less than 800 and not 5k or something... |

QUOTE(cyang @ Dec 18 2014, 05:22 PM) Most of the time (based on my past experience), they will transfer back the excess payment after deducted with current outstanding amount. OK, I have to accept whatever that comes to me.Not sure whether they can actually did that (transfer full amount), because this is not what overpayment meant. Fortunately my unbilled transaction is not that much. I will avoid using my AmEx these few days then... |

I just swiped another 8k on my MBB, but I only have Aeon for BT now. Promised myself that my previous BT was the first and last time. However, I cannot resist la.

QUOTE(tbheng @ Dec 29 2014, 05:16 PM) Yes, mind u, it is addictive, sis... Yeah, damn it. Maintain a good discipline and you can ride through it without incur any charges. Luckily I'm very disciplined when it comes to payment. However, I'm not able to BT the total amount to Aeon as it will max out my CL. I only have 12k CL I think, 6k+ already used for previous BT. My first payment will due on 1st Jan and it will add back another 1118 into CL. Anyway, long way to think of this as my Maybank bill only due in mid of Feb. |

QUOTE(sendohz @ Dec 30 2014, 09:02 AM) Haha i'm already enjoying these benefits with Aeon and MBB BT The problem is I love my AmEx so didn't want to hook up my CL due to BT. So just use my Aeon.Applied two Aeon cards last month and now already did two rounds of BT with it back and forth. That's where the 'over payment' occurred and request for withdrawal back to CASA since i know their procedure will be after my due date but i did the BT anyway |

QUOTE(bearbear @ Dec 30 2014, 10:28 AM) true, as the maybank cards are the only card i use for transactions and 12 month is really slow for the CL to pick up again. I try to limit my BT total amount to less than half of my CL else i might not be able to use my cc anymore near month end. Yes, 12 months is too long. AmEx's 5% rebate and 5xTP are just too difficult to resist. Imagine my whole chunk of CL is blocked due to this. Sad case.trying to get affin purely for BT, else maybe will use RHB |
