Sorry that I didn't included in my original post that I have nothing against you bashing Disney but why use an outdated sexist and racist talking points. The only reason Gamergate blew up simply because the GOP/Fox News co-opted that talking points as theirs. Just like how Donald Trump hijack the Qanon idiots and provide platform for Proud Boys and Nazi f***s. So why use those lame ass talking points?

The fact that all these agendas being prioritized instead of telling a good story is a toxic trend happening to hollywood movies and gaming scene.

I love 12 years of slaves for re-telling the unfortunate fate of Black people due to enslavement,
I had empathy for Jared Leto's character Rayon as transgender being mistreated in Dallas buyers club,
I enjoy Tomb Raider reboot and applaud Lara Croft remodel for more realistic approach
I like Ripley from Alien 1 & 2
I think Furiosa from Mad Max Fury Road is super cool

and the list goes on..

Why? because non of them push the political agendas hard on your face until the story screws up.
and if I'm intentionally making sexist comment, why would I love Ratchatcher 2 in this movie?

Look, Star Wars Ep8 made every male characters brainless fool like Chis Hemsworth in that Ghostbusters female reboot.
They even break the setting and character by turning Luke character into grumpy grandpa and made Leia superman flying in the vacumn space. WTF man.

Marvel comics is also heading this path now by lazy writing (diversifying existing legend characters and creating SJW-inspired characters instead of building new characters that tell inspiring / touching story.

So before giving label, look at the fact.

Until there's no gender disparity, corporations will always pander gender and politics to make a quick buck. If Gamergate is the scorched element in pop culture, what has it accomplished? Yeah doxxing culture and cancel culture is what came after Gamergate. Anita Sarkeesian still around giving talks and Kotaku still publishes PC triggering articles. No the society didn't move one bit to Gamergate outrage. Scantily clad heroine still selling games and realistic female depiction didn't dominate the pop culture.The Gamergate forum now has evolved to Qanon and peddling misinformation day in and day out.

If you want to read great comic books that for sure you won't read DC or Marvel. Saga, Wallking Dead, East of Eden, Monstress, etc...are all current books that have won numerous awards and a strong following. Just that they are not mainstream. DC and Marvel are under big corporate overlords who's ultimatum is to maximize profit. Pandering to their demographic is not exactly SJW. Nike laughing to the bank with Colin Kaepernick woke advertisements. So until Marvel or DC is sustainable within the profit margin of corporate overlords, things will never go back to what was before where pioneers like Stan Lee or Jack Kirby strive to just storytelling and not making marketing agendas.

Just because SJW, Feminazi, trended on social media space doesn't mean their existence justify and has validation. Now Republicunts pundits are the ones still throwing phrases like woke and SJW to click bait their idiotic followers for views,shares and likes. Context is everything. Gamergate derived from butthurt gamers about some PC journalists. It snowballs to doxxing and cancel culture from sexist gamers who openly attacks female game developers. Racist swoops in to radicalise these idiotic sheeps. Then mainstream media conservatives hijacked this phenomenon to throw everything under the sun as progressive leanings as woke and SJW. What and how you use certain words reflects who you are. Granted you may not knowing the intention of the SJW phrases but just why perpetuate it's malicious intention by society's assholes. Social justice on itself is a positive connotation but under the gas lighting of deplorables it becomes these sexist and racist mantra.

BTW pretty sure majority of your favourite Hollywood stars, directors, comedians and singers are leftist. The only honourable conservative is Clint Eastwood and he doesn't participate in culture war. Maybe Chris Pratt is the next high profile right wing superstar who isn't an asshole. Then again I'm not snowflake enough that my political leanings will determine my enjoyment of whether the stars or directors who is left or right or not. All I care whether it is a good or bad movie, of course I'm not stupid enough purposely watch a Ben Sharpino produced movie to test my patience on his stupid right wing rhetoric.

Even this Suicide Squad is entertaining but really not breaking any new ground that haven't been done before. Pretty sure by the end of the week I would totally forgotten what the whole movie about and don't care enough for a second watch.
