QUOTE(lorrydriverrocks @ Sep 18 2014, 08:52 PM) tayar korek tu tayar yang dah expired.patut dibuang tak boleh pakai. tayar koyak tapi untung punya pasal:ada orang pergi carik balik tayar tu buat balik bunga kira buat balik sebjik tayar la guna otak sendiri.(tayar biasanya lapisan dia tebal bila tayar tu dah botak lapisan dia makin nipis) yang nipis tu dia pergi toreh buat bunga. nama lain tayar toreh. tayar ni ada banyak nama. harga pun murah daripada tayar biasa. aku suspect xcident yang berlaku kereta terbalik la terbabas la hilang kawalan punca daripada tayar ini. |

1) Leave it at the workshop to change oil for awhile, end up changing timing belt. Apparently the guy showed me inside the belt got cut. I wonder how on earth did he manage to see that.
2) Changing spare tyre with fixed punctured tyre. After reaching my place, i realised my tyre air cap was rubber instead of metal. Went back and the guy pretend like puzzled and change to metal. But without me checking it, it wasnt the same cap. 3) Changing to new 15" sport rim. End up need to change absorber because 14" different so they say. Later, that absorber making a irritating sound while driving. Lesson learn: A)Dont leave your car. B) Watch them working. C) Keep your tyre metal cap 1st before changing tyre lel |

QUOTE(neato4u @ Sep 18 2014, 09:01 PM) Now you know how to open the door, can just do it yourself in future. yep,Cars are just like PCs. If (some) pc technician knows that you know shit about computers when you hand it over to them for repairs, they'll say that the motherboard need replacement while it's just the CMOS battery that needs changed. Because you know nothing about computers, you fork out RM500 to replace the mobo rather than spending RM5 for changing battery. Learning about cars is good so we don't get cheated by mechs. For simple stuffs we can DIY, but of course complex require additional big boys tools that we don't have, so we need to send the car over. But still, at least we know something and can fight back. i learnt bit by bit for standing next to the mechanics, i usually standby and watch as i don trust them with the works hence i learnt too. meanwhile i don really like to leave my car for overnight, are there any cases where i can get back my car like one day. i can spend whole day watching them. i just need to spray my car roof. |

I wonder how on earth did he manage to see that. just to add on, idshonest mechs will tukar away your parts and changed to old parts if yours is new. hence really need to keep an eye. especially your car is a common car where parts are easily swapable.2) Changing spare tyre with fixed punctured tyre. After reaching my place, i realised my tyre air cap was rubber instead of metal. Went back and the guy pretend like puzzled and change to metal. But without me checking it, it wasnt the same cap. 3) Changing to new 15" sport rim. End up need to change absorber because 14" different so they say. C) Keep your tyre metal cap 1st before changing tyre lel the same theory that second hand sales dealer practice where u c the car is only use for 2-5 years, but inside looks like 10years which does not tally with the intel shared. hence sales person will cover up with BS like blaming previous owner uses the car like a cow. commonly happened to door panel and the radio inside the car. some worst scenario is signal indicator looks like got into a terrible acids spray. the previous owner is alien i think. don buy from dealer buy straight from owner and no additional 3-5k stupid charge that only causes less than RM200. |

QUOTE(payamam @ Sep 18 2014, 10:10 AM) Last time when I work in Kelantan also kena con by a shop that looks so grand with high tech stuff. A few month later, have to get it repaired so later on I decided to send my car to a kampung tyre shop in Kubang Kerian where he adjust chamber, alignment using string and ruler. Before changing here and there, he will test drive first with you sitting at the passenger seat so that he can feel what is wrong with the car. Then only he starts repairing. So old school but that is the most trusted and reliable tyre shop i've gone to in Kelantan. Thumbs up! kedai mana bro ? Mezuan tayar ? |
