anybody got experience with lim tayar?

last week my window cant wind up due some ball bearing got out of rail, maklumlah, old car, hence normal tear n wear.
my objective is to put back the ball back into the rail only. the boss of lim tayar came and examine, plug out another rail with a plastic proytective bearing covering it. and he claims the plastic is wore off due to aged. for god sake i am standing THERE WATCHING, he assume i mislooked or something that he just plug out somehting from my car. Howverr it is true as per i c memang already gone case but i can still choose to fix back the original bearing that is out of rail and my window will b up again without needing to fork out 600++ just to replace an old regulator/switch/rail and bearing as per mentioned everything looks intact to me except for the 5 sen size plactic covering the smaller bearing which is totally out of the question.

what i did was i don bother as i only as them to put back the loss bearing back to the window rail and there goes 35 for opening and assmebling bacxk the ball into rail.

abt changing the whole regulator and window switch is really rediculous. and it happened in lim tayar latest branch in bangsar.

moral of the story, do stand beside the mechanic and understand from them instead of the boss that claims need to change the whole mechanism just for simple wire issue which is later cos a bomb.

i learnt bit by bit for standing next to the mechanics, i usually standby and watch as i don trust them with the works hence i learnt too. meanwhile i don really like to leave my car for overnight, are there any cases where i can get back my car like one day. i can spend whole day watching them. i just need to spray my car roof.

just to add on, idshonest mechs will tukar away your parts and changed to old parts if yours is new. hence really need to keep an eye. especially your car is a common car where parts are easily swapable.

the same theory that second hand sales dealer practice where u c the car is only use for 2-5 years, but inside looks like 10years which does not tally with the intel shared. hence sales person will cover up with BS like blaming previous owner uses the car like a cow. commonly happened to door panel and the radio inside the car. some worst scenario is signal indicator looks like got into a terrible acids spray. the previous owner is alien i think.

don buy from dealer buy straight from owner and no additional 3-5k stupid charge that only causes less than RM200.
