QUOTE(Someonesim @ Oct 20 2014, 10:24 AM) Donno much on other, but damn sure Samsung ( they even tried to switch over to Tizen OS ), Sony ( all their own service link to other products ), HTC ( they need more sales and thus need to be unique ), Chinese manufacturer ( their weird hard-on to iOS like skin ) yes, Motorola In the end, only Motorola appreciate stock ROM's smoothness and speed, thus Shamu born |

QUOTE(Someonesim @ Oct 20 2014, 10:35 AM) And then influence more Chinese manufacturer like Huawei ? Sounds really, more Nexus/OnePlus type of phone to choose from OnePlus is really a first good move 2 different line of business can cater each region. like lenovo now focus china consumer (they planning to launch new model for internet sales channel to compete with xiaomi), and let's motorola handle western and the rest. |

QUOTE(Someonesim @ Oct 20 2014, 01:43 PM) Mostly consider G watch as Nexus watch. Look at the dull design, standard features, no flamboyant, it's Nexus device ya G watch not bad but moto 360 still is hottest discussion. btw, LG have Watch R also looks good. anyway, not really fan of watch. I din wear any since many years ago. hopefully we can see either pioneer, kenwood, sony or any other HU makers, quickly launch Android Auto. |

QUOTE(nasrulafiq93 @ Oct 20 2014, 02:40 PM) That is how Quickcharge feature by Qualcomm works. Basically the phone pulls more current (as the note 3's charger is capable of outputing 2A) , thus the heat. Go download Currentwidget app and monitor the input charging current. You'll get a (almost) consistent 1.6A input to the phone. That's pretty badass IMO. But like djlah said, it'll probably affect your battery's life span. I guess is still okay with high amperage charging alone. but the problem is combine with playing games with network on at the same time are killing.... while you all flash L, I thinking to flash KK btw, can any L user testers tell, is TiBu 6.2.0 update work fine as reported? |

QUOTE(nasrulafiq93 @ Oct 20 2014, 03:21 PM) Did you know that Android Lollipop has its (sorta) own Titanium Backup? until today I still haven't try Lollipop. is the default restore function support TiBu files?Basically you can restore your selected apps from any device u previously owned during the startup guide. Damn cool. IMO this is one of the most interesting and important feature in Lollipop that not many people has mentioned. Google really is pushing those custom roms developers to come out with more new features as they start to integrate most 3rd party features/Mods in stock Android. ya, I know, Lollipop learn a lot from custom dev. the orange color on status/navi bar when you switch on power-saving mode look cool~ |

QUOTE(Someonesim @ Oct 21 2014, 01:21 PM) Have to wonder, with Google cook this Lollipo so good ( so many features 'borrowed' from custom ROM ), what/how could they improve over stock Lollipop I want switchable themes..... maybe I will miss KK theme when using Lollipop This is why I love Android. Google lay down base > community improve/adding features, then Google adopt it, the circle repeat itself. It's how Android improved and shoot pass iOS, Apple doing it alone and conservative ( observe how it works on Android then steal it and claim it's innovation ) Hardly able to squeeze out which ever features I need Google to implement in their next release, Lollipop had included a lot of useful features we longing. What features you guys think Google 'MUST' implement ? |

QUOTE(xxdesire @ Oct 21 2014, 01:47 PM) -Privacy control (App Ops) (bring back PLEASE!) That's very important.-Customizable quick settings (would be cool to have, not 'MUST' la) That's all I "wish". I want the most is App Ops. And they had to remove it edit: stock. no 3rd parties apps/whatsoever. Any Lollipop user please feedback, is third party App Ops works? |

ElementalX posted version 2.00-test yesterday, anyone already try? the dev comment 0.3% per hour idle on Lollipop with the new radio, that's as good as EX. stock kit Kat kernel was 0.5% per hour. |
